So with all the negativity from the new updates, I'd like to reminisce back to when I started on MTGPQ (back in Zendikar)

Hey, remember back when every time maintenance took too long, we got some crystals?  That was nice.
Remember when a 4/4 double strike cost 25 mana to play?  And it was still a much-used creature?  Now a 3/3 double strike costs 8, and people still don't think its strong enough.
Remember when events were just a "coming soon" message?  And remember the first event ever?  Wow were we happy.
Remember when it took months to get enough crystals to buy a big box, because you could only get 10 at a time from quick battle grinding?  And that was normal?  (not like now when saying you need to grind for a month to get a guaranteed mythic is cruel and unusual punishment)
Remember when 2 color mana bonus of +3 was the most broken mana generator available?  And then Koth came out and they had to buff his gains because he was useless?
Remember when we got a new set, and story mode to go with it?  At the same time?  It was a great way to see what the new mechanics could do, instead of waiting months to find out as you slowly got cards

And most importantly,

Who remembers the mana loading wheel?  I never go why they got rid of that, it was the best part of the app hands down.

Anyone else have any fun memories of the early dark days of MTGPQ?

I've heard the legends about that, but it was before my time.  I do remember old Chandra, though
