    People complaining about "whale decks" might need to chill out a bit. The decks I built for this event might be considered that, but I haven't ever bought a card or even crystals for that matter. I've just played for a long time and didn't buy my way to success. I went perfect using a finely tuned C2 deck for crying out loud. I built decks that were meant to get all of the objectives and faced pretty much similar decks. Blaming a loss because of "whale decks" or "non-event decks" sounds just like whining because you lost. Losing happens to everybody and sometimes it's just bad gem position on the board. **** happens. I can promise you that a lot of the people who went perfect in even the Platinum bracket for Breaking Points are not "whales" and did not build "troll" decks. They are just good players who know how to use their card collections to the fullest. Instead of getting angry learn from them.

    I've built standard decks in paper and win during fnm plenty of times to under stand how to use my cards properly. Yes this game is different but the core gameplay is still their. Complaining occurs when let's say Olivia hits and cascades into pig, then next turn koz. A board wipe is the only answer, yet you have 11 to go and no mana gems to cascade into. Yes hem location is 75% of this game but it's clear when a deck was bought or that person is the luckiest person on earth to get those insane pulls from packs that no money was spent on.

    You can build decks that run perfect with uncommon and common cards, and win. But thier is a reason why certain cards are rare or mythic, because some of them are that much better.

    It's hard to claim someone is bad then sit their and say you have been playing the game for a longtime, to me that just means you have more cards and more combinations at your exposal compared to a player who started .... let's say 3 months ago.

    For me to claim whales or troll decks I understand what is happening as I play. I understand what to expect but the power level difference is clear, I spent 28 turns and killed 24 creatures with my black deck and still lost. This is because of a clear power level difference between the players decks. And a troll deck is simply a deck that was purposely made to force you to lose your secondary objectives, and have a small chance to win ( kiora loop against "don't lose more then 2 creatures" )

    I've been seeing quite a few vehicle decks in Breaking Points.

    I bet it's cross pollenating with the Planeswalker Arena...
    I used harvester in BP.

    Yeah, harvester is an "ok"  energizer, plus pretty useful all around in these events.

    Aye, a lot of my Saheel wins involved dropping 4 harvesters on top of Olivia to energize and swoop in for the coup de grâce.

    The concept of matchmaking improvements is alright. I would not even be so disturbed by the fact that "everyone" uses their Koth or some ultimate deck during events - even if they had nothing to do with the event objectives. It can be frustrating for sure. But the real change I noticed in AI matches is ENDLESS cascades and perfect card draws for the AI and the COMPLETE opposite for the player - really bad card draws, no mana gains available and just a losing battle from the beginning. It's always fun to have a tough challenge ahead of you. In fact, when I come across a well-structured deck, it becomes a learning experience for me. However a senseless game that become so frustrating that after the 10th game out of 15 games, where I want to smash my iPhone 6S Plus... I'm a patient person. To bring to such a point takes a lot. Yet this is THE major change I have seen in this new "matchmaking" "improvement". Seriously guys, does the dev team actually play this game? (Using actual decks and available cards from real players and not the full arsenal of cards hey have access to?)

    @Brigby - if this is not your matter of concern, get this to the people D3 is paying to deal with this.

    Anyone else managed to figure this out and use it to their (some would say unfair) advantage?
    Haven't tested this with extremes yet, but:

    Say you have levels 1, 59, 60 in an event. Click on the node for 1. Fight. Click on node for 1 again to load opponent, but don't fight. Click on 59 to load opponent, don't fight. Click on 60 to load opponent. Fight with 59 and 60. Then fight with 1. Click on 1, 59, and 60 to load opponents. Repeat, always fighting with 1 last.  Opponent is loaded for the last fight (your level 1), and once it's loaded it won't change because you used 59 and 60.

    @Froggy

    I understand that seeing a rather large cascade on your opponent's side can be frustrating, but the developers have commented on the forum multiple times in the past, reassuring everyone that the AI absolutely does not cheat. There is no indication that this statement has changed since then.
