there might be a possibility that matchmaking is
based on a selection considering a players
highest level participating planeswalker. eg when
I enter my level 60 pw, all my pw are now pitted
against the max level 60 pw even the very low
    ones.

No, it just pairs against the last PW you used in the event instead of the current one.

This is a serious exploit and needs to be closed immediately.

So if you used a level 6 in your last match your next match will be against a PW +/-5 from level 6. If you used a level 60 it will be +/-5 from 60.
Our coalition has discovered the same thing. Makes using any sub-60 planeswalkers very annoying. If you guys at d3go and Hibernium actually care about this new player experience the entire update has been for, you would know how brutal this is for a new player who enters an event with two level 20 walkers and their one level 60. Are you telling that player they need three or even five level 60s to even join events just to get fair matchmaking?

just to avoid any confusion, I think the planeswalker
levels you are asking about is (3x or 5x) level 55s.
(technically a level 55 is fairly matched when facing
a level 60 under the old system)

Hi Everyone. Rest assured, I've already passed along several threads and reproduction steps to the development and QA teams, so they can attempt to reproduce the issue and fix it asap. I understand that this can be a frustrating situation, but please be patient as it does take time to isolate the exact area of the issue and develop a solution for it.

No, they don't need to do anything of the sort to get fair matchmaking. They just need to follow the instructions I posted earlier in this thread to work around the bug, and they can get the correct match ups in every game, possibly bar one (the first time they switch from a low to high or a high to low).

Seeing the same matchmaking problem in PW Arena. Thought this might be helpful to know for those wondering if it was just isolated to the last event.

all I can do here is to add extra confirmation of the problem.
Can't add a screen shot, but it was 14 vs 60.
    Never stood a chance

Are other PWs you have locked in the event level 60?

Another explanation is that your opponent locked in his PW as level 10 to 20 and then maxed it out to 60.
This was possible before the last patch. maybe it still is.

    @AngelForge
My other pws were both level 60 for the event.

You can read in this thread how to avoid your low level being paired with lvl 60 opponents.
