2.0 keeps resetting application

On iPhone 6+
pre-2.0 I could check email, look at a site or change music mid-game. Doing too much would prompt the reset, but I was confident I could do a little app switch

Right now I was mid-combat, switched to my podcast app (pocket cast) to change the podcast, switched back and I was booted back to the d3 logo as the whole app was loading again

ui performance in 2.0 is way improved. When I saw improved memory usage I was hoping this issue would improve, not drastically worsen

    Hey there JanksMcJank,

When you play the game and switch in between other apps and programs or leave the app open in the background (such as when the device is in sleep mode or you receive a call), you divide the priority of processing among the programs, and the shortage causes the game to shut down due to the enhanced usage rate during matches. When the game shuts down, as an anti-cheat provision, any current battles are automatically retreated and your team incurs the consequences of a retreat; damaged health, loss, etc.

Unfortunately, each device is different in how long it will allow the game to run in the background and there is little we can do except suggest that you complete your match and close the game before using other apps and programs.

Also, here are some steps you may use in order to ensure your device is optimal for running the app:

    - Make sure you have enough space on your device or your SD Card. (Full devices can run slower)
    - Make sure your OS is updated to the most recent version and that you have the most recent version of the game.
    - Restart your device often, especially if you are experiencing lag.
    - Try clearing your cache.

iOS users can clear their cache by going to Settings>Safari>Clear History. Please also make sure to also select "Clear Cookies and Data".

Android users can clear their cache by downloading a cache cleaning program, or by going to Menu>Settings(System Settings)>Application Manager(Apps). From there you can tap each application and select "Force Stop" and then "Clear Cache".

If none of these suggestions work, try an uninstall/reinstall of the game to ensure no data was corrupted. Be sure to note your current Username and UID number in case of an overwrite. Should an overwrite occur and you cannot restore your game manually from Facebook, or don't have Facebook, Customer Support can restore your account from their end.
