    You can contact Customer Service to ask them to rename it if you do not want to reform under a new alliance with the desired name. Whether or not they allow it is up to their discretion afaik.

    As far as recruiting goes, post in the alliance recruitment thread stickied at the top of the forum and hope for the best. You can also PM players in the players looking for alliances thread if they fit what you are looking for.
