Champing Mr Fantastic

That is the question.  I'm not too concerned with maximizing champ levels, so i don't have a particular need to focus on the latest 12.

I have 27 champed 4*.  I have 8 more fully covered 4* that could be champed (Mr. F, Nova, Pun, Winter Soldier, Carnage, Invisible Woman, Agent Venom, Eddie Brock) but for lack of ISO.

I've got 1 Mr. F cover on the vine.  I want to champ Nova & Pun just because.  I like the fun characters (of which Nova certainly fits) more than power; not a PVP competitor (generally to 575 and stop, on occasion to 900 when need be), mostly PVE.  I've got Medusa champed already and have seen the synergy of her and Mr. F.

So there it is: champ Mr. F and save the cover, or sell and move on

If you can spare the iso, go right ahead and champ him. I champed my Mr F a couple of months ago and have no regrets. I always team him with red/green/yellow users to maximise Imaginaut. Currently I like using him with Nova and either Jean, X-23 or Gwenpool. Once I get my 4* Cage champed he'll alternate with Nova, especially as Luke and Reed synergise brilliantly with their Fortified tiles

I found Mr Fantastic pretty fun to play Before his rework, and he's obviously better now. I don't Think you'll regret champing him if you go that way.

Medusa and Mr. F play very well together.  Pair them with special tile generators, and you can self-heal your way to victory.  It's a slow path, though, so best used in PvE.  So I think there's some value in champing him.  (I am champing him now, as a matter of fact... but I champ everyone.)

I can definitely vouch for that Mr. F and C4ge combo, I've got both champed and they work really well together - their yellow and blacks complement each other without fighting over ap and Mr F can set up a lot of fortify tiles to max out C4ge's yellow attack.   If you are planning to champ C4ge when you're able, then champing Reed is definitely a good investment for him and Medusa both.
