Roster assistance please. First 4* Champ.

Good Afternoon,

I am looking for advice for my roster.  I have all 3 stars champed besides Hawkguy and 2* are being farmed.  I am in the position to get my first 4* champ and was looking for advice.

Below are my current 4* that have at least 8 covers.

I have been playing PVE now more just to get the 4* progression and PVP to 575.  I would really like to start playing PVP to get the 4* progression and PVE about the same if I need the cover, if not just for CP and ISO.

The question is, I know I should be getting a Wasp from the current PVE so I will be able to champ her and my favorites right now are Marvel and Medusa. I have enough that I can buy one cover and I can save for more if needed. Should I continue to work on the current 4* and focus on Cage, Wasp, Blade, Medusa, Marvel or should I bite the bullet and spend the CP for the last cover of RULK or covers on Cyclops?  

I have the 3600 "deal" right now and I would buy the vaulted covers when they came up if I have the 2500 but 3600 is a little steep.  Any suggestions or advice?  Also, who would you try to pair them with both current and the vaulted that I have a good chance of champing?  For 5* I have a 10 cover OML and then a 4 cover IM and SS, yeah, I was happy to get all those OML at the time...now....not so much.

    Frankly, I don't think you are in a position to compete for the 4* PvP progression consistently right now,* so I'd say don't spend the CP.  Champ your Wasp, and either Marvel or Medusa are good choices.  Between the two, I'd go with Marvel, as she's a better stand-alone character than Medusa.  (Medusa thrives when she has special-generating partners; Marvel excels in pretty much any situation.)

    *Without assistance (e.g. serious Line coordination) or spending a lot of HP on shields.  Or having a "no way" char you can leave on defense like a well-champed Red Hulk.  For reference, I have 12 champed 4*s -- soon to be 13 as soon as I generate another 20k ISO -- and with just playing PvP with one or two shields I struggle to reach anything beyond 800 without attracting the kind of attention that loses you 300 points in five minutes.  You need to be able to win FAST, not just win, to get into the 900+ range.  Or you need to grind during off-hours.

    Champ Wasp; you're going to love her; even with the fix to the CD bug, get 6 Blue and it plays itself. Based on a suggestion from the boards, I've been playing Carol/Wasp/Cage and it's just too much fun. You have Cage Black/Yellow covered, so that's good (Red is nice, but more situational). Even with Carol under-powered, the damage dealing potential is high.

    Myself, I wouldn't pay the CP just to champ RHulk. Is he awesome? Yes, but you're not going to quickly get covers for him, and from where you are the goal for 4* champs is quantity. Quality is important, but many of the current 12 are very good, and you want to get into positions where you have 2 boosted 4* champs in the PVEs; you'll get there quicker focusing on quantity, at least until you get a run of Agent Venom covers :smile:. So, I would value the 6 random covers more than the 1 cover to champ vaulted character unless you have covers dying on the vine.

    My 2 cents; I know that the consensus on the boards may not align with it.
