Rotation of the Featured 3-Star in PVP

Well, kids, it is clear that devs are concentrating the PVPs on the chars that are in tokens and vaulted chars are not being featured.  

Previously, the PVPs would cycle through the featured 3-star character in more or less a chronological order, where the ones who had not been featured for the longest period of time would be up next.  

Now, they are skipping the 3-stars in the vault. 

Here is the order for the prior season and the current season.

Iron Fist (imm weapon)

LukeCage (hero 4 hire)

Kamala Khan (ms.)

Hawkeye (hawkguy) [new char introduction]

Psylocke (classic) [VAULTED CHARACTER]

Squirrel Girl (unbeat)

Black Widow (grey)

Scarlet Witch (wanda m)

Daken (classic)  [VAULTED CHARACTER]

Iron Fist (danny rand) [new char introduction]

Bl Panther (m w/o fear)

Iron Man (model 40)

Rocket & Groot (most)

Cloak & Dagger (classic) [new char introduction]

Doctor Doom (classic) [VAULTED CHARACTER]

Blade (daywalker)

Spider-Man (classic)

Thanos (modern)

Daredevil (classic) ???

So 20 tourneys, 3 were introduction tournaments.  1 has not been revealed.  16 sample size with only 3 of those being vaulted characters.  

There are lots of vaulted characters who have not been featured longer than Daredevil (who ran in January).  For example, Beast, Mystique, The Hulk, The Punisher. 

And of course there is no announcement from the devs.  They just change their practice as a stealth.  Well, in any event, now you know, dear reader.  Plan your roster accordingly!

I didn't realize the vaulted, and now skipped, 3s are largely non-mcu characters.  The same sort of vaulted/unvaulted balance is being seen in the essential 4 star for pve, so it's no surprise to see but nice to confirm.

It's pretty weird.  They just has an event this offseason that awarded Thanos covers, then skipped his PvP.  I complained about it here: http://forums.d3go.com/discussion/63396/skipping-thanos-and-strange-pvps-seems-suspicious#latest.  And now they're bringing his PvP back.  Coincidence?  Complaining works!

It's the same with the PvE rewards too. It's mostly characters that are in tokens. Quite frustrating
