Guidance, please

I am at the point where not all my 2*s are useful in combat and I might need guidance on who to focus.
I currently have 600k ISO and almost 1 more roster slot (5 coins short). 16 CPs and a varied array of covers to either recruit or sell.
Help, please?

Assuming that roster link is current, I would champ your 2*’s instead of soft capping them where you have them.  Champ rewards will help you with more HP for roster spots and start giving you more 3* covers to fill those characters out.  Try to get more covers of 2* Hawkeye so you can run the 2* Mags/2*Storm/2*Hawkeye team.  That team is very strong for punching above their weight class.

(In case you haven’t heard of that combo, the idea is to use gather enough purple to fire Mag’s purple, setting up a 5 tile blue match, to fuel Storm’s Windstorm attack while also triggering Hawkeye’s passive purple (set him to 4/4/5) giving you several countdown tiles for big damage at the same time.  Also use  Mag’s red and Storm’s green to gather ap.)

Don’t open any CP until you’re ready to move into the 4* range (a while for now)  That could get you into scaling trouble while you’re still in the 2* range.

From there follow the 3*’s as they come, from either pulls or champ levels.  Concentrate on what you have already, but I would make room for Scarlet Witch and Iron Fist (strong AP generators, which pays off more in the long run).  3* storm & * 3 Hulk would be good too for that reason.  (2* storm is going to give you 3* Storm covers anyway).  From what you have already rostered, Doctor Strange and Classic Magneto would be a good focuses (and a hearted as bonus heroes).  Doctor’s Strange’s yellow passive will make you love facing goon teams and Mags has two of the best offensive single strike attacks in the 3* range (relatively cheap too)

I had forgot about adding SW, she's at 1/3/5 right now. (added, she's at 117 lvl now).
Ok, will be following that print then!
I am trying to have a roster spot on soft characters for subbing in case of need for missions, those extra points, even if the character is low on level I manage to nail 3-4 victories and earn extra points for missions.
    Thanks man.

Took a look at your roster; a couple of comments...

    1. Hang onto your ISO. You're going to need it soon as your 3* approach 13 covers.
    2. Hang onto your CP. While it might be worthwhile to spend 20CP for the 13th cover of a top tier 3* like IM40 or Cyclops, you are too far away and you don't know what RNG will give you.
    3. Given that you have a good amount of ISO and just about all of the 2* rostered, get the farm going as they hit 144. This will ultimately help with HP for roster slots and 3* covers.
    4. You are probably already doing this, but play as many nodes of DDQ as you can every day. With your roster, you should be able to beat the 3 easy nodes, and you should be able to win That Required Character every day you have the required character. Tacos are yummy!
    5. Same applies for Lightning rounds. They start every 2 hours, and if you join right when they start you'll get 8-9 starter nodes for ISO, a token, and maybe some covers. It's quick; if you join and you see a non-starter node, just bail and come back later.
    6. Have you completely cleared the prologue? If not, you should be able to steamroll it, and there are not bad rewards hanging around.
    7. PVP is probably outside of your comfort zone at the moment. If you can get in and get a couple of quick wins, you'll get rewards. Don't worry if you get beaten down after that; the rewards are yours to keep. I've been playing for 2 years with 10 4* champs, and I still play PVP that way (my target is the 10CP for 575, but it's the same deal; get in, get to the goal, get out).
Unless you have $$$ burning a large hole in your pocket, this game requires you to take the long view. Plug away, increase the roster, and collect the 3* as they come. You'll eventually find yourself with a collection of 3* at 13 covers, and that's when you'll have to spend the ISO.

From where you are, continue using your 2* in PVP; you certainly can get complete clears of the easy nodes including the 2* essential which will get you some reasonable rewards. Keep your best 3* at about the same level as your 2*; your Cyclops, Cage and IM40 can be added to the mix; Cyclops yellow can feed your 2* torch, Ares or Mags red, Cage's protect tile is certainly useful and even at 3 covers, IM40's yellow is a reasonable AP battery.

    Good luck!

I have managed to sneak top 50 on some PVPs, mostly thanks to my Luke Cage 5 red covers. Both tournaments with Cloak and Dagger and Doom were awesome since they fed his black to punch the hell away of people. I could build those since I just took negligible damage. Using Whiteneto as AP and damage dealer in case of emergency.

When you say ISO farm, specifically how do I farm ISO?
Yeah prologue's all cleared, actually did that before joining the missions themselves.

Farming is taking advantage of the fact that 2* covers fall like raindrops, that the non-ISO rewards that you get from leveling a 2* (3 3* covers, a reasonable amount of HP and some CP) are pretty good, and that the difference in ISO between getting the rewards and the sell price for a level 144 2* (65K ISO + 125 HP) is just about what you'd get in ISO by just selling the covers as they come. There are several threads about this, along with analysis by people who don't think it's as valuable as I do, but I swear by it.

    What I do is:
Get the 2* to level 144.
Wait until more covers come in; keep them in the stash until one is about to expire
At that point, sell the 2* and use the freed roster spot to re-roster with whatever covers you've collected.

Since your 2* are doing heavy lifting, you have to be smart about it; keep an eye on the PVP essentials (don't sell a 2* just as it's needed in PVP) and what you might need for the burrito, and don't have too many low-level 2* at the same time. But, you'll find that the HP will trickle in at a faster rate, which leads to roster spots, which leads to fewer difficult decisions.

If you're getting top 50 PVE, then keep at it; that gets you 3* covers, which is what you need to get to the next step (which is needing ISO; once you're passed that, you need 4* covers, etc., but there you go).

    Hope that helps

    Great tips.
I currently have 6 Moonstone covers, it'd be a waste to roster her and level her up, right?

Eventually, you need all 2* rostered except bagman. Even if you don't farm, you will need them for the 2* PVE essentials and the Behemoth Burrito. I don't know if "eventually" is today, but it will be a need.

I think Moonstone gets a bad rap, Purple is hard to control, black costs too many AP, and there are probably better 2* red. At the same time, she has good HP for 2*, red can pack a punch, and there are no other powers like purple and black at the 2* level. Not fantastic, and not top tier 2*, but usable.

Basically, I can live without her until it is absolutelly necessary.
I am having a blast on the simulator trying teams. Fishnet+Scarlet+3clops is surprisingly synergetic and packs a punch.
