Is it just me of does his boss level seem to be moving at twice the speed of regular play?  If that is the case, can we make that the standard for all of the game?

    Yeah, it does. Not sure why it moves faster, but I love it.

    I remember having this speed with Loki's countdown tiles. It really sped the game up, therefore I wonder why it was changed back ...

    Yes I feel a smooth and faster pace. With that in mind I wish we could skip the power animations as well. No offense to the game designers.

    I agree, the ability to turn some visual features off would be nice.

    Try playing with a Star Lord/4-star Cage/Dr Strange team. Throw them against a Carnage/Medusa/Daken team for ALL THE ANIMATIONS!

    Seriously. The animation is great in this game and really creates the sensation of a superhero brawl, but it's like the old summoning animations in Final Fantasy games. They look great the first time you watch them, but eventually you don't want to sit through a 10 minute cutscene every time you launch a power.

    I believe this is related to sound effects as much as anything. Compare Storm or Doom's match "speed" with wolverine's to see what I mean.
