Icons in PVP/SHIELD Training

What is the difference between the icons when you go into SHIELD Training or PVP Events?

Some are Gold, some are red.

Do you mean on the nodes that represent your opponents?

Red nodes are retaliations against players that have attacked you.

Gold nodes are just random opponents that have a similar match making rating (mmr) as you.

I was thinking it was something like that. But I couldn't find anything that said so.

You just didnt pay enough attention. It said on the battle description. The yellow node say defeat another player's team and the red node will say overcome your attacker.

Another question, How are the points that you receive determined in the SHIELD Training? Is it the same as in PVP Events?
And at a certain point, don't players stop playing the ST? I'm ranked like 67k. LOL.

It's the same formula for calculating the PVP points, but due to a lack of players playing it, you'll never be able to reach the top tier progression rewards.

And yeah, people use it to tank their MMR, I'd recommend just getting the 1,000pt HP reward and tanking from there on out.
