Why isn't there a token where 3* is the baseline?

Currently we have:

Standard: 1*, 2*, 3*

Elite: 2*, 3*

Heroic: 2*, 3*, 4*

Legendary: 4*, 5*

Why wouldn't it be:

Standard: 1*, 2*

Elite: 2*, 3*

Heroic: 3*, 4*

Legendary: 4*, 5*

People would complain about losing 3* from Standards, but That is more than made up for by weeding the 2* out of Heroics. The primary downside to this is that new players get Heroics at a decent clip and would struggle to roster 3* as early and often as they get the tokens.


You could also make a new type of token that is just 3*, 4*

It just seems very strange to me that players building their 3* rosters are stuck either trusting to luck in heroic and elites, or waiting out the rotation for DDQ (assuming they have the characters in the first place).

    Elites should have really come in as a 3*/4* token, you cannot buy them directly so it is easier to control their availability.

    As far as your point about players getting heroics to readily, if they adopted your scenario they would obviously switch to giving out elites far more than heroics to stop that from happening.
