I got Tezz2  for my alt. Even with just one rare in the deck, it's a force. I have a decent amount of kill and disable spells. It can do a lot. His 2nd ability is one of my favorites.

    Padeem is a she.
Glad to see a new player enjoying the game. What level is your tezz2?

I got to thinking about upcoming Baral nerf now that I've had a few days to play Tezz 2.0. Despite Baral being unable to load a 3 cost spell with mana as soon as it hits the table anymore, I think the nerf will superpower Tezz 2.0. The 4 mana to every spell in hand at the beginning of the turn while Baral is out and if you've got Tezz's #2 loyalty construct out, it's going to be a murderhouse. I'd you've got era of innovation out before #2 construct starts pumping out fabricate 2 and quite possibly being pumped up with energized gems along with Baral loading up cards BEFORE  you swap for even more mana.... you get the gist.  But... in all fairness this is pure speculation and I've yet to test my theory until the update occurs.  That said,  even without Baral Tezz 2.0 is a powerhouse to be reckoned with.  I've seen some pretty dang clever combos hit the table from other players, some of which inspired some changes of my own to either emulate their effect or make use of a trick I hadn't thought of.  No PW to date has been able to do that aside from Saheeli.

Whoops you are absolutely correct and I knew that.  My tezz is only 18 I think?  I just got the level 3 ability, but haven't gotten to use it yet.

I've really enjoyed Padeem in over the starfish.  She's a great addition even though its a bit more mana, the hexproof is nice as well as even more fabricate.

@Gunmix25- I don't think Baral is getting "Nerfed" so much as getting "changed".  An unchecked Baral can take over the game very quickly.  But you'll have a few turns to deal with him before he gets out of hand.  He is similar to cards like Startled Awake or Kozilek.  You need to deal with him, but there are ways to deal with him.

The new Baral decks are likely to be much more powerful overall than the old Baral decks.  Instead of marginal cards like Artificier's Epiphany and Negate, the decks are likely to contain powerful spells like Engulf the Shore, or (in two-color decks), things like Behold the Beyond, Oath of the Gatewatch, Season's Past, Nissa's Renewal, etc.

but will he be as effective as all the combos out already is the big question have to wait and see

He's not a combo piece anymore.  He's a mana dork.  Weirdly, mono blue seems to get all the best mana dorks.  (I'm looking at you, Startled Awake).

Change is definitely a better word than nerfed in this situation.  You're absolutely right about being able to deal with him in one fashion or another. Good to know that I'm not the only one who can see his potential post change as being stronger than the way he is now seeing that he continually loads spells worth 4 mana every turn rather than just 3 when they appear in the hand.

especially some that can help you get the cards your looking for (anticipate) and even some of the discard one card to draw 2 just to empty a card you dont need right then
