Does uninstalling lose your progress?

If I uninstall the game, will my progress be retained if I re-install it at a later date?

    Only if you linked to facebook.  Otherwise....poof!

    For clarification (since the question in the title and the question in the actual post are inversed) as long as you have facebook link setup properly you can feel safe to uninstall.  When you install it later you would have to relink to restore your progress.  

    If facebook link was not setup or non-functional at time of uninstall you're out of luck from my understanding.
