Train shows instead of Add Level when there is a Champ & NonChamp version of a character[Devs Aware]

Since the last update, dupe covers can no longer be applied from the rewards screen. Instead, it tries to apply the cover to the max champed version. Still can be added to the dupe by selecting in the roster.

    Hey there cable_eel, when you encountered this issue, did the button appear as "Train" or "Add level"? Additionally, was this from when you initially received the Comic Cover or when you tried to add it from your pending rewards?

    The button was Train. When trying to add from pending rewards. Had it happen again for 2* storm. However, it worked correctly for Ares.

    If the champ has 3/4 in the color you're trying to add, it always chooses the champ over the dupe. It's really stupid - and most annoying if you are 2* farming and trying to cover a dupe before finishing the champ to sell.

    Maybe that's it. I checked again and it is 2* storm yellow that's causing the problem. The champ version is 5/5/3 with 3 yellow. A storm green cover added correctly. I've never noticed this before, but I guess this makes sense.

    As Akari put it, that is what is happening. Rest assured though that this is not intentional and the developers are well aware that this is occurring. Unfortunately though, this issue has proven difficult to resolve and it may be some time before a fix can be released to correct this visual issue. In the meantime, you can work around this issue by going into your character's overview page and upgrade the power from the ability overview screen. Just be careful when you're on this page, as there is not only a button for adding ability levels via Comic Cover but for spending Command Points as well.
