Running on the 4* Release Treadmill

Now that we've had vaulting for over a month now, I'm seeing some future issues in my growth, which I'm sure applies to a lot of people. I'm covering the latest 4*s very fast now......perhaps too fast. Let's say that I open 7 Legendary tokens per week and gain 300K ISO per week to level up my latest 4*s. Here's the problem:
Stage 1: When most of my 4*s are at low levels (1-5 covers) then I have an ISO surplus.
Stage 2: When most of my 4*s are at mid levels (6-9 covers) then I have an ISO stability.
Stage 3: When most of my 4*s are at high levels (10-13 covers) then I have an ISO shortage.
Stage 4: When 4 x 4*s are champed and 8 are at mid-high levels, then I have an ISO stability.
Stage 5: When 8 x 4*s are champed and 4 are at mid-high levels, then I have an ISO surplus and should start hoarding.
Right now I'm at Stage 2 with ISO stability of opening tokens and leveling them up, but I see the impending shortage coming. After I push past that shortage period and start champing them, I then foresee an impending surplus and CP hoarding strategy, because most pulls would give me champ levels instead of a newer character cover. But after some time, there will be new 4*s again and I would start pulling again.
Questions:
Where is the state of stability?
Should you only pull if you have less than half of the latest 4*s champed?
Is everyone else going through these stages so quickly? (meaning you're running faster than the 4* treadmill).
Other people may have already mentioned this, but I wanted to open a discussion about strategies to work with it. Before vaulting, I couldn't keep up with the 4* Release Treadmill. Now I can run faster than the Treadmill at the expense of neglecting all vaulted 4*s. Perhaps the ideal state of Nirvana is to slow down pulling Classics and naturally accumulate CP and LT every 6 months to do a massive 300+ pull from Latest to cover the newest 5*s?

The 300+ pull strategy has less to do about 4 stars than it does 5 star classic dilution. it is currently the only viable way to transition into 5 stars.
To answer the original question, when developing your 4 star roster you should only open LT when you can afford to champ them, e.g every time you have 300k ISO. Rinse and repeat so no covers are wasted.
Others, myself included have 25+ 4 stars maxed and could care less about new releases, I plan on selling 255 4 star covers when i open my hoard. My gripe is with vaulting, those would have normally been classic champ levels yielding another LT every 10 levels. The alternative is save 6M ISO and prepare to max the latest 12 at the same time.0 -
This thread is primarily about the speed at which people are covering the latest 4*s and then find themselves in a situation where hoarding is the best option, unless they want to get a bunch of 4* champ levels instead of 5*s. I didn't want to discuss the 5* transition.

So the daily "latest 12 and I'm progressing too fast not enough iso" thread lol.
I think it entirely depends on how you personally want to handle dupe covers.
I have every 12, except Iron Fist, with at least one power at 5. Usually that 5 power generally will be my most pulled cover for any particular character (AV red, Gwenpool black, Riri blue) so chances are high that I will eventually pull them even though I haven't finished off thise characters.
But I have to keep pulling because I want to finish off my medusa and Carol (12 and 11 covers). I'd rather sell off covers until I finish them than just outright buy those final covers. That's just me cause I know between those dupes that I will get usable covers for the twelve like coulson and blade (8 and 9 covers).
Once I finish off Medusa and Carol, then I'm hoarding. I except to champ gwenpool, AV, and SW while waiting to finish off carol though.
Problem I've been finding is that I'm still acquiring vaulted character covers of characters that I didn't intend on champing. Got three Mr. F covers dying on the vine. Gonna champ because even vaulted he still stalks me.0
