Forum Feedback: Get rid of the full page of fluff before real content

The look and feel of the new forums is nice, however the absolute first thing I noticed, and what I notice now every single time I visit the forums is the frustration of a full page of fluff above the content that I am looking to access. Not only is it a pain to have to scroll an entire page down to access content on every page, but even worse is that the html objects that contain the fluff are not a specified size, and resize once the content is loaded, so once the content loads (right about the time you scroll down and are clicking on a forum link), the entire page shifts down even more right under your cursor.

We come here for the forums, and we want to see the forum content. A full page banner that says "Marvel Puzzle Quest" is not useful and very annoying, and the "featured posts" feature could be a single line of scrolling text at the top of the forum, it doesn't need to be half a page of auto-scrolling blocks.
