'Error' button unresponsive

On finishing a PvP game in the Arena, the game gave me the following Error message on the loading screen: 'Error: unable to connect to game server. Please check your internet connection'. Unusually, the green 'Retry' button is completely unresponsive and won't let me tap on it.

If I disconnect from the internet, I get the 'Network Error' box, which does let me tap on the blue 'Retry' button.

    In the end, I managed to make the loading progress by pressing the back button on my phone :) A simple solution but one which was not indicated in any way.
