Funbalancing SM without nerfs

Spiderman is currently overpowered. I don't think this is due to his power being broken, but because there are few counters to stunlock. A way to "funbalance" this would be to give a number of "black" powers ability to break stuns. Generally, these should be fairly accessible powers for underused characters.

Hulk:
Add ability to 3 point "Anger" - breaks stun when Hulk is damaged (passive) but does not create a countdown tile. Thematically, this works really well - what could be more enraging than taking damage while stunned. It also makes Hulk a much more compelling character because you can't stun lock him easily. Hulk becomes scary.

Hood:
Add ability to 3 point "Intimidation" - Provide stun immunity to Hood (passive) and clears stun from other characters when activated. Thematically, this seems to dovetail nicely into an intimidation power / damage avoidance power and buffs an underpowered ability.

Loki:
Make the "Trickery" skill a blue. Add an ability with trickery to do moderate damage if no strike tiles are on the board. Add a new Black skill, "Turn the Tables" - Provide Loki Stun immunity (passive), removes stun from all allies (active), stuns all enemies for 1 turn.

    I like the suggestion for the Hulk (nope my newly leveled Hulk has nothing to do with that).

    As for Intimidation, I am pretty sure that an ability cannot be active/passive at the same time.
  • I think there should be a stun immunity after you or enemy comes out of a stun. For one round after a character comes out of a stun it's immune to all stun effects. Also raising the cost of Spider-Man's stun by 1 would go a long way too
  • That would be an interesting nerf to all stunners. Why not have a set threshold for *all* characters that if they take more than 5% (or 10%?) damage they break out of a stun.

    Stun lockers could still paper cut people to death and reapply stuns after waking up their victims, would make stuns that much more tactical.
  • The two ways to nerf Spidey without changing his mechanics, is to limit his max stun to 3 turns -and- remove the ability of stun to stop countdown tiles.

    That would make Spidey pretty worthless against goons and prevent him from stunlocking entire teams (unless you want to suffer through 10 minute matches where you are constantly stocking up on blue AP).
