Interesting twist on the "wrong portrait" wave issue

There have been plenty of occasions in which a downed character takes on the appearance of an upcoming character in a wave battle.

During today's Big Enchilada, Punisher had Storm's portrait as soon as he joined the wave. I wasn't looking at the text, so I assumed the opponent was Storm. Then when I saw Judgment being fired off, I assumed it was a team-up. When Molotov Cocktail fired after that, I started paying closer attention.

The game had calculated far enough ahead to know that the enemy team would fire off enough powers that my Faltine would completely take out Punisher from 100% health before my turn even started. Punisher was downed and replaced by actual Storm.

Since I didn't actually have a turn to attack Punisher, it ultimately doesn't matter that I thought he was Storm, but this was kind of a long time for the wrong character portrait to be displayed onscreen (at least 3 separate powers firing + Faltine counters)
