Speed Kills?

So, I keep reading about speed kill rosters. I am basically using Spidey in my roster for the healing, but it makes some games take a little longer, I guess? It seems like I can get through a match pretty quickly while at full health... But I guess I'm slow since I'm using different characters than what everyone seems to tout

I take it a speed deck looks to kill fast while minimizing damage taken... but at some point you're relying on health packs, right? or do you rotate through like 6 characters while others heal?

What's considered a fast win with a speed deck?

Does a speed deck suffer on defense?

I believe that the current speediest kill team is Patch (5 in green I guess) and cMags (x-5-x). Get some green, get some red, launch Berserker's Rage and abuse Projectiles. Patch + oBW is much, much riskier but also fast.
I guess that lazyThor can be very fast too.
Human Torch is the new definition of fast as well.

The speedy teams aren't usually great on defense though (Thor can be countered but he's very AI-friendly nonetheless, Patch's strikes can be turned against him, etc.). That said, defense doesn't matter *much*. Yet. Anyone can take on anyone given certain characters or combos (forget Spidey, cStorm and MMN combos attack me all the time, lazyCap is also good for taking on anyone).

I've been rolling with a 120 Hulk, 137 Spidey, and 141 Punisher/GSBW. Because of the damage output this team can speed kill even with Spidey around.
