Impetuous Devils not dying at the end of the round?

I recently had a match were the AI was able to cast Impetuous Devils three turns in a row and they stacked (reinforced) instead of dying at the end of each turn like they were supposed to. I've never seen this happen with my own deck. Is it common, Has anyone else had this problem?

Was it disabled? It won't die if disabled.

They may have had Flameshodow Conjuring in play. The destruction that happens at the end of turn step, is actually just dealing leathal damage to the ID. Since it has prevent damage it doesn't take any and live.

I have been able to keep an ID alive for 4 turns this way, Play one allow it to hit for 6, next turn reinforce and it hits for 12, play another next turn and it hits for 18. I only have three in my hand but it would receive prevent damage every turn it is reinforced. The game attempts the leathal damage at the end of the players turn so it will die after any turn it isn't reinforced.

Surely that's a serious bug and could also affect other cards that are supposed to die at end of turn.

Psychoticcherry is correct, anything that prevents damage to a creature will hold onto the imps for another round. I guess if you are doing that multiple rounds you would keep them out accordingly. I was a bit tee'd off the first time the AI did it to me but after seeing what happened I have been able to use it to my advantage as well.

I don't know if I would call it a bug more like a strategic "feature" ;)
