Any suggestions for teams with this? After coming off a week using a boosted 4* Jean this has seemed like a slog.0

I know. I am feeling the same way. How is your 4or covered? Thora, Luke and Jean (just can't let her go) have been my go-to team. Easily took out hulk with the Thor's stun, her damage, Luke's yellow and bits and the crumbs picked up by Jean.
I also used replaced Jean with X-23 to pick up the pink and green.0 -
4Thor is champed. She's just slow for this. Hulk isn't a problem I was looking for faster teams for the DA.
I like Ant-man / Mr. F and Gamora but that's pretty slow also.0 -

Not really that slow once the first recharge goes off, we have just been spoiled by a week of Jean.
I found that GSBW helped speed things up enough that it wasn't too slow and you have the ap to use up anyway.0 -

Im40 and 4hor. Gather yellow along with some blue and red. Recharge tiles go off. Stun your two biggest threats. Use red on the last character with all those charged tiles on the board to down him/her. Use another red on your next biggest threat with even more charged tiles on the board (should be littered with them by now). You then have 3 moves to gather enough red (or possibly blue for another stun) for a third crushing blow measuring in the tens of thousands. Match done (and quickly).
I would use Jean preferably as your third on non-essential nodes so purple and green don't go to waste. Great for AoE, enemy countdown and tile removal, and match-5 stuns! You could substitute in x23, gsbw, or rulk depending on your roster.0 -
I did my first clear through using a boosted 3* Thanos who was doing over 4k damage with Court Death, paired with 2 5* characters just to speed up the match damage to take the enemy with the lowest health down0

I use OML (can be replaced by 3* Daken or X23), Rocket/Groot and 3* Thanos
Even high level nodes get wiped once I have 12 green. everything else even sooner0 -

I champed both Daken and Thanos in the last two days so I have very little experience with either. Can you please explain the mechanics of this combo?0 -

I use OML (can be replaced by 3* Daken or X23), Rocket/Groot and 3* Thanos
Even high level nodes get wiped once I have 12 green. everything else even sooner
I champed both Daken and Thanos in the last two days so I have very little experience with either. Can you please explain the mechanics of this combo?0 -

I guess I was asking for builds and such. Court Death does about 5000 (boosted) damage which, on higher nodes, gets nowhere close to "wiping out the enemy", so I figure I'm not seeing the process.
Since R/G's green is 10, I'm guessing the 12 is for Thanos. In which case, is R/G just there for the yellow heals and high health?
Why would/wouldn't Patch factor in here somewhere?0 -
Who picked a support character, a tile heavy 2 star and a 4 star that not many people have covered to be the essential characters, why not just have Bagman, Sentry and Mr. Fantastic as the required characters. Gah!0

I wished I never had Agent Venom Covered, I will have him entirely covered by the end of this week. Do I really want to soak in 400k iso to get him championed though, for the next 17 agent venom cards I draw in legendary token pulls, is really the question.
(I got really lucky with match 5s with Clint and went through the modes quickly, but the modes with Falcon and the Dark Avenger trio were endless).0 -

Patch would be fine too, you basically just add 2 self-healing characters to Thanos (RG, Patch, OML, Daken will all do nicely)
Thanos is all about brute force: you try to kill the weakest enemy fast, Court Death deals 5k damage to the other 2, you kill the next weakest guy and you will probably kill the last guy with Court Death. And in the meantime you can use 12to Come and Get me to deal another 5k damage to all enemies.
Be aware though that Court Death sometimes doesn't fire (I think mine fires in about 9 in 10 cases), so having a heavy hitter in your team is not a bad idea... just make sure you have enough Healthpacks.0 -
Anyone else find it mind-numbing yet somehow really satisfying putting Hulk in stun-lock and whittling down his health over and over again? I love the solo Hulk nodes.
STUN!
PEW! PEW! PEW!
ANGRY! HULK ANGRY!
AIRBORNE!
ANGRY AGAI....
STUN!
...and repeat...0 -
I always forget between runs just how much I dislike the Hulk.
I'm remembering now.
My only wish at this point is that the next event has no tinykitty dark avengers.0 -

The board got shaken every other turn thanks to Unstoppable Crash. Between all of the matches, cascades and Headbutts, my boosted/Champed 4-star Thor took 23K points of damage. In two rounds. From LVL 150 enemies. With none of the Pyro flamethrowers countdowns going off.0 -
For this event I'm using 4 * Luke Cage and 4* Blade, with either 3* Falcon or 3* Doctor Strange, depending on how many goons there are.
They're not boosted, but they are fun. As I'm just going for green ticks and not placement, that's important.
For Hulk I use one of my old SHIELD Simulator teams of 4* Thor, IM40 and Gamora, stuns galore.0 -
In sub-event 7, there are only 6 regular (repeatable) nodes and 1 non-repeatable node. This should be fixed in the event description even though it was a nice surprise to have fewer nodes to grind through after this grueling week.

I do find annoying all the new one-off nodes in the main event tab, once you get to sub 7. There's always another one...0 -
I know about the essential nodes.
The description reads:
Sub-Event 7: Hidden Stash: Nevada- Number of Main Nodes to Open Sub-Event: 1
- Length: 24 hours
- Sub-Event Nodes: 10 Total. 7 Regular (repeatable); 3 Essential (repeatable)
And, my god, all those nodes on the main event page! It made it feel like this event would never end.
