I actually didn't realize they changed him until he fired his green and didn't one shot my lvl115 Howard. It took about half my health (it did around 4K dmg I think), but I still had enough to finish the match. Was your 4Pun doing more dmg than mine?

Because most players that are at 2 or 3 years in have Howard around 5 or 6 covers, and that fight would be REALLY difficult if Punisher was fully covered like other Crashes.

Until they make Howard available in packs, progressions and placements, and make him favorite leather, this Crash will continue to be a gulped Punisher. And that's good.

It's beatable with one purple cover, as long as you deny green and have a lucky board. Would be much tougher if he had black at all.

Because the difficulty is the same as it was in Howard's first Crash a year ago, when he was just released and only the top contenders had him decently covered.

Crash is the puzzle in the Marvel Puzzle Quest. Deny the green, get the purple and you can beat Punisher with 1 purple cover. Change was needed to limit the impact of the green, not to take it out completely.

I beat it when he was first released. Now mine has 10 covers and it was super easy. Since Howard can destroy green tiles, the fight is very manageable.

I have a level 0/1/2 level 70 Howard and when he used his green on me it didn't kill me.

I don't think this was an intentional nerf, I suspect the absence of teammates is not equal to 2 (stunned or) downed teammates.
Although it contradicts the name, "Army of One". Since he is alone.

That's how BigPun functioned during his crash. Green operated at the lowest (zero downed enemies level) in that battle too.
