I'm quite happy I managed to start the last match of the NoP event (which is technically still ongoing) before the maintenance started. Not sure if the win was indeed registered on the server, or only on the client.0
-
And you scheduled this just before the end of NoP... why?0

It is not clear to me if server maintenance presumes an actual release of a new version or any fixes, or it's simply maintenance done at the level of the server (cleanup, restarts, etc.) without affecting the application or back-end logic in any way. Would like to know this information.
Thanks!0 -

Is there a particular reason you included EST, MT, and PST while leaving out Central (CT)? Just seems weirdly exclusionary (also, you can just put Eastern, no need to put the rest).Tilwin90 wrote:It is not clear to me if server maintenance presumes an actual release of a new version or any fixes, or it's simply maintenance done at the level of the server (cleanup, restarts, etc.) without affecting the application or back-end logic in any way. Also, it would appear there was no update, just general maintenance.0 -
Hi Everyone. This was just general maintenance, and there was no new version nor fixes.
We are most likely going to post the Pre-Release Notes beginning of next week once everything is starting to get finalized and set-in-stone.0 -

Pre-release? How long have the majority of us(at least on this forum) been waiting for the devs to listen to us about the obvious greed behind many of the recent changes?
I'm done with this game. I don't want to be, but I am. Not my time or my dime.0 -
Pre-release is just away of saying they expect a patch next week and the notes are there to let us see if there are any big problems before they let it go live.
My ask is that we be given them in a less fluffy PR way and have a more straightforward list of notes.0 -

Hey Brigby,
I don't know if the team realizes that we just switched our clocks to Daylight Savings Time in the US.
Events used to end at 7:00 am. Now, because we've moved the clocks an hour forward, they end at 8:00 am.
Therefore, if you scheduled the maintenance at 7:30 am, previously that was 30 minutes after the event ends. No conflict.
However, NOW, 7:30am is actually 30 minutes BEFORE the event ends, which means a lot of people got interrupted by maintenance while the event was still running, and it wound up costing them points/nodes.0 -
One thing I have learned is to expect the absolute worst.
If they say "free gold" they mean you get to keep half of what you currently have... for free!
If they say more cards, they mean more of the same cards over and over.. less total cards and less cards you don't already have.
If they say they will communicate with the community more, they mean they will leave early and laugh about how hard they are trolling their player base over a round of beers at the community pub.0 -

If you're a glass half empty type, it will be the introduction of new events that cost 50 jewels to enter with 10 basic boosters as prizes. Oh, and all packs will cost 25 more.0 -

God, it must be nice living on the West coast...
It's 5 a.m. here in the East. Luckily for me, I have to get up that early anyway to get ready for work.0 -

I've moved past the opinion that this is down to pure ignorance and moved onto the assumption this is willfully malicious at this point. At every turn, in every way, there seems to be a twist of the knife, some salt in the wound, to make our playing experience just that little bit less pleasant. I can't WAIT to see what they have for us next0
