Heyllo, so I've been playing for a few months now (day 99) and I'm firmly in 3* land at this point. I'm reaching Max progression in pve and doing okay in pvp, but I'm starting to think about 4* and where to move from here. I linked my account at the top, but I have 10 3* cramped and a few at 12-max covers. My 2 burning questions at the moment are:

1.) Peggy carter. She's my furthest along 4* at 3/2/2, but she's also the next to go and I doubt I will get anymore in time. I'm sitting on no CP/LT to burst on. I'm sure the right move is to abandon her as a bonus hero and not worry abouy anymore covers for her, but which 4* from the latest 12 should I consider? My next mostly covered 4* are a 0/2/3 coulson, a 1/3/1 c4ge, and a 1/2/2 SW. Any of these here three worth making into a cornerstone 4*?

2.) With my roster, where should I be expecting to finish? I have a hard time making it to 800 points in pvp. Does that sound right or am I not playing smart enough/right? My normal lineup is IF/SW/c3ge.

Keep Peggy as your bonus hero. She's better than those others (although Cage isn't bad). You could also set Capt Marvel as your 3 star bonus since she gives Peggy champ rewards.

With your roster, don't expect to get any higher in PvP. You'll need boosted 4 stars for that.

Yeah, Spaten is right on. 575 is a realistic goal in PvP, but you should be able to seek placement in PvE because scaling makes that a level playing field (placement is more of a matter of timing and dedication).

Don't abandon Peggy. It' not like vaulting has made attaining covers impossible and she's arguably the best character in the game.

I would say get IM40 done asap.
His recharge will let you hit higher than your level/tier.
Recharge plus a good boosted 3* (usually using red, blue, or green in that order) could get you 800 more regularly.

KK, 3cyke, im40 should be able to get 2k in sim.

And IM40 will make Peggy, 4Thor and Iceman (when you finish them) great for PvP scoring during their boosted weeks.

I wouldn't worry about 4 stars in your situation. Focus on your 3s and where they can take you.

With your roster 3*s should be your focus for the time being. You're still a long way off from 4* land, though definitely keep Peggy as your 4* fav. She's easily one of the top 5 characters in the game and there's a strong case for her being #1. I'd keep her around the level of your highest 3* to no screw up your scaling, at least until you're ready to get a full 4* team going.

As to your current 3*s, I'd set Ironman 40 as your 3* fav. Of the 3*s he'll be the one you'll be using well into 4* land. He has hands down the best yellow power in the game. After that just champ 'em as they come. You've already got some of the best 3*s champed (and Squirrel Girl). And getting the last few 3*s on your team will ensure you always have DDQ access and good PVE progression.

And 800 in PVP is a high bar for your roster. If you can make it go for it, but don't sweat it if you can't get above 575. If you have a full team of boosted characters, the 4* cover at 900 is one you really, really want, I'd consider shield hoping, but at your progression your HP is better spent on more character slots.

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback! I'll def. Keep Peggy as my 4* favorite then. Not like Id get to many champion level for 4*s anyways.

I haven't updated my stats yet, but I got the 10pk heroic for the season and I got a bunch of IM40, so he's done at 4/4/5. Just need the iso. I've got a few characters waiting on the iso. Is it more worth to champ my falcon in lieu of his two covers coming up over IM40? Ive wanted to do IF, C3ge and falcon for awhile in pvp.

It's really best to champ 3-stars based on their value, rather than play the cover game. Falcon is a good support character, so you can't lose by champing him, but IM40 is the BEST support character, at any tier, and can dish it out as well. You'll have 2 weeks to hold onto those Falcon covers, so maybe you can champ them both. Should be doable.
