Gotta say, Blade (champ), Flaptain (5/4/4), and Strange (champ) melt down symbiotes fast.

On day 1, there was an all-symbiote node that sapped my will to live. They buffed their protect tiles to the extent that only Flaptain yellow+red would do damage.

Today I've been leaning more heavily on 5trange. His eye of Agamoto is priceless.

But yeah, the lesson is: deal quickly with the special tiles or prepare for a potential epic battle.

I'm very impressed with how Luke Cage with 5 black can keep Symbiotes under control. If he's in front, those special tiles don't have a chance to stick around. If anything does get through, then the protect tiles soak up most of the damage, too.

Sorry, but some of these goon feeder nodes needs a complete overhaul. In Flaptain essential (Sub 3) I keep getting attacked in almost every turn by overpowered Moonstone´s Photon Blast for 6k (or even more) damage. The same issue in Blade essential with Doc Ock. That´s just unfair and no fun at all!

Feeder nodes need to die. I've said it before and I'll say it again: free AP is cheating.

I've been running a 2/2/2 OML, Champ 3lade and Champ 3trange that works fairly well. OML tanks almost all colors (and self heals) and I hunt for Blue early on to use 3trange stun/attack. Works better on symbiotes then on 3 characters. If it's Moon/BE/Ares or something like that, I swap out 3range for a boosted Deadpool.

That node is EVIL! I've been tossing some nasty words around every time Moonstone gets a shot in

The first couple of times this event ran, Carnage was fully covered on nodes with red and green feeders. You think Moonstone's Photon Blast is bad every other turn? Try Symbiote Scythes! I've been using Cheat Code (aka Boosted/Champed Jean Grey + Scarlet Witch) and my 3/1/1 OML for most of the nodes with a large degree of success. Carnage nodes generally need a stunner, though. Fortunately, the devs realized that was too evil even for them, and knocked his covers down.

I've also noticed a sudden jump in the number of Gamma Siphon Team-Ups that the enemy team has. It's especially annoying when they use it just get enough green to use Iceman's Whiteout. If I had a CP for every time that happened, I could champ my FalCap!

Champing Thanos was the best thing that happened for me since champing Strange. Sure, I'm consuming excessive amounts of healthpacks but I went from "No way I'm finishing this event." to "Just nuke everything with court of death."
