Just wondering how many of you are still entering the TOTP Events? We used to have the number of players entering each event visible, now that's gone I'm interested to find out!

Hit the button by accident, and was disappointed by the whole thing, especially the payoff.

D3 refused to refund my gems, which is deceptive and predatory. It left a very bad taste in my mouth, especially since scrolling around the Events tab is now a minefield.

Definitely not doing it again... unless i once more accidentally hit the button.

Brigby/Dev Team: Please add a confirm purchase popup to anything that requires gems (events and purchases).

I'm not counting the time I provided feedback after
being provided with 100 crystals to cover entrance.
(inbox offer should have made this clearer before I
claimed that there was a moral obligation, especially
straight after the no obligation 100 jewels)

Hi wickedwitch74. We've noticed a lot of these reports, such as yourself, of accidental entry into the event, so we've requested a Confirmation Button be implemented as soon as possible. We're currently waiting on a time-frame estimate from the development team.

When it comes to the refund request, could you please message me with your support ticket number? I'll take a look at it to see what I can do to help.

I played it the first week wasn't always able to get the 10 gems for the perfect all the time but was always able to get the 15 mana jewels each time. It's actually pretty fun especially the legendary node.

Accidentally entered the one yesterday and debating to continue entering into these as I've gotten absolutely nothing from the packs that I've opened. This includes the 10 year anniversary deal as well.

I like the challenge of the legendary node, but the price and rewards aren't necessarily worth it. Especially with how the elite packs are currently configured. Though to be honest nothing really feels worth playing right now. Planar Bridge and Mechanized Production are so blah. Dead cards until the board is energized meh.

the only thing looking forward to is Rishkar's Expertise for some brokenness. Now that's a reward that says try hard!

I can't really vote since my sentiment isn't there, which is I want to play but the rewards aren't there for a pay to play option.

To be clear, the consensus amongst the player base is that there needs to be a confirmation on any purchase that requires crystals. This includes items in the vault, like Planeswalkers and all card pack offers.

Please take this into account when speaking to the development team.

Yes. We initially presented this Confirmation Button request as a desire to be implemented for all major purchases. Due to the amount of time that it takes to implement it for each individual instance though, the Confirmation Button for the Trial of the Planes event will most likely be the first to be implemented.

We want this accidental entry incident to be mitigated as quickly as possible, and I will provide an update to this once we receive word of a time-frame.

Hey Brigby, I accidentally clicked on "select your planeswalker" before knowing the secondary objectives. Can this be looked into as well or should I send in a support ticket? Maybe they can insert the objectives and ribbon rewards 1 menu screen before planeswalker choice. Can't hurt to try.

I am one of the dolts who is actually playing it. Its just something to do that is more fun than deploying 75 vehicles in enraged mode FIRF with a chance to win 60 crystals... Honestly, I was top 5 the first 2 events and got duplicate mythics, 120 g, and a fat pack... now you want me to grind that garbage for 60 crystals and a booster? Please... rewards were WAY overnerfed.

Sorry.. I probably should join the boycott... its just that I can use my Mirrionette Master / Underhanded designs Sorin deck rather than another deck geared for some annoying secondary objectives.

Brigby - Change the buy in to 30 crystals or the payout to like 30 and you will get a lot more people joining. I know its a terrible deal, I just actually want to play the game.

Personally I find that FIRF and EmO are good places to muck around with fun decks... you don't have to pay to enter, and the prizes are so rubbish that you don't mind losing or failing objectives so much.

I accidentally clicked and didn't play. I sent a ticket to get my crystals back.

My accidental click was in turning my phone one. I left it on the events page, and in the loading it decided I joined the event. I almost got all the rewards, but lost the last event. It's also rather dumb that if you lose your first match, there is no point in playing your last and second to last as well.

I would recommend sending in a support ticket, so Customer Support can help you out.

I actually put in a request today for some sort of info box/screen that displays the objectives and such prior to designating a Planeswalker into a node. I plan on discussing it in our next meeting with the development team.

Edit: When it comes to ribbon rewards though, you should be able to go to the Events screen and see the progression rewards there without having to enter it.

I don't think I have ever bothered trying to get the vehicle objective in FIRF but you are 100% correct. I just play fun decks these days on these **** events

I voted as accident despite the fact that the few times I actually play it I was deliberate. But the reason I picked that option is because I've abandoned it for about a week now. 15 mana jewels for 60 mana crystals (provided I can get 50 points, which can be a crapshoot) when mana crystals are important to get planewalkers eventually feels not very worth it.

There's only one time I was able to get all 60 points, that was when I played black with Ob Nixilis discard deck (his ultimate is amazing against the fourth node's double draw effect). 50 crystals for lots of dupes, no rare, and 15 mana crystal still feels a bit of a waste considering how expensive the masterpiece booster is.

I played it the first time when we were comped the 100 but of my own "money" I prefer to save up for Premium of not just Kaladesh but the other sets, too, which I haven't completed or am card-chasing mythicals.

In a world where I get a Sriram mythical from a freakin Basic booster pack (yes, I was quite surprised, too), I'll still hold onto crystals for the bigger packs and only open basic when I win them in the non-cost events.

I'm not a whale, but I will buy specific Mythic card packs and PW's (Olivia and Gisele are my favorite vamp girls - Saheeli and Tezzeret the Schemer were just there asking me to buy them, I couldn't help it... ) and so I figure that will eventually get me jewels that will get me the elite packs.

Just showing the middle-road reason between whales and casual for why I won't play/pay for the Trial events.
