Cheating is alive and well!

Hey guys, just wanted to comment on the cheating that goes on in qbs.

As of right now, with 12:28 remaining in "Chandra's Acolytes" a player by the name of [redacted] is in the lead with a whopping 5304 ribbons.

I (and I assume most of the rest of the community) would like to know how a player could possibly commit to the game in this capacity. I believe this was a two-day event, which means he's accumulated 2.4 ribbons per minute for the past 36 hours consecutively.

Something is fishy, and this ALWAYS happens!
Why would people even try in Quick Battles if they know some cheater is just going to take first?

I know you all have your hands full with the horrible update you just released, but this is something that really needs to be addressed!

Please catch and remove these people to make the game more fair for the rest of us.

Thanks!

P.S. FIX THE GOD DAMN DROP RATES!

    They are working on it.

They might have a solution in place next year sometime.

I'm quite sure typing the player's name in text is a big no-no. You can post a screenshot instead. Either way, this thread will get modded.

    That's what, a win every 6 minutes, 24 hours a day?

He must have a terrible real world life if he committed that much time to cheating on a mobile game during a WEEKEND!

Oh-let me channel the devil's advocate here:

That's only 34 hours of 150 ribbons/hour in the 58 hours the event was going on. I'm assuming this is the current 3-day weekend bracket.

I could run those numbers at my humble 120 ribbons/hour if I did nothing but grind with only 6 hours sleep a night.

Really you need to track them over time and see if they are putting up numbers at an unreasonable rate.

I am also in this QB bracket, albeit quite low, but the I know I had remarked to my friends about the top rank having just 700 ribbons two hours after the reset. It was one of the contributing factors of me not devoting anytime to QB this weekend.

I appreciate the support guys and gals!

This just goes to show how frustrated we ALL are about this.

Now the ball is in their court, and hopefully this doesn't get swept under the rug like everything else.

    It's amazing.

I'm pretty sure he must've read this post, because in the last 90 minutes or so, he's only accumulated 60 more ribbons.

Too bad the damage is done, bro.

    Go get em d3. Please!

I recognize that name. When I was still hungry for mythic and chasing rank 1 for them in QM. of course, that was before people went on a witch hunt for cheaters. So if he survived the initial purge chances are his legit.

I don't know how he would still have the motivation to grind for 5k ribbons. I reckon the mythic he got is a dupe...it why I lost interest in the chase after awhile.

The person mentioned above isn't cheating. At a round once every 6 minutes is more than possible spending just 12 hrs playing. That's one win every 3 minutes for 12 hrs, with a good nahiri deck that is easily accomplished. And considering winning in 1m45s is possible with a gatewatch deck, extremely easy.

Better off if you look for the people who climb to top 10 in the last 2 hours of the event.

    WAT ???
win every 3 minutes for 12hours is 120points per hour times 12 is 1440 points
We are talking about figure which is 4 times bigger

Making the assumption off the numbers given above. Nahiri really has endless possibilities. 120 pts is possible in 40 minutes, I've done it before using nahiri and koth.

This really sounds like a witch hunt led by whiners. We've all seen cheating, this is no where near close to it, not to mention, that was a weekend qb, 72 hours to accumulate that many points. With a really good nahiri build, it is easily possible.

What you've described there is exactly D3's official anti-cheating policy.
