I just got the MPQ in game survey.
1) Rate MPQ - 0
2) Why did you give this rating?- Poor customer service, bugs every release, overpriced goods.
3) Who is your favorite GotG?- Rocket (interesting that Groot was not a choice!)

#3 was what made it legit. Instead of asking me which characters I want in game (That they have no intention of putting in, it's lip service) or letting me choose Groot (a very commonly talked about character as "baby Groot" that we'd like to see in game) they gave me the other 4, one of which I'm sure they've already decided we're getting.
Hint: It's going to be Rocket or Gamora, no matter the votes, they're the 3*.
Thanks for not BSing me this time around so I can pick from the real options.

I got that survey today as well:

    1. Rate MPQ - 6
    2. Why did you give this rating? Developers decide on patches and changes not based on the majority of players but on the likelihood it will bring in more money from purchases.
    3. I picked Starlord for reasons.

Except Groot was an option. I picked him in my survey. The fifth member of the crew required that you scroll down (the option order mixes each time).

I picked star lord as well, but I am really wondering what happens if they make a new one. Do they out out a 5* and 3* Star Lord?

Give me Nebula or Yandu. Someone new. I'd be ok with Baby Groot, but maybe as a 2*?

Id also be ok with any of the other Guardians as 4s, it'd be nice to see a bad **** 4* Gamora or Rocket.

What I dont understand is why anyone would still be playing a game they thought was so bad that they voted it 0? What sort of lunatic does that?

Still, but why? Take your time and money and go spend it elsewhere on something that gives you more satisfaction.

I've no way invested as much money in this game as whales will have, but the minute I dont enjoy playing it anymore, it will get deleted. Its only a game at the end of the day.

I gave it a zero based upon recent changes that are said to be under review by Brigby as a way of outlining the strength of my feelings about it in the hope they will change things.

Long term if the feedback isn't addressed though a zero will lead to me stopping play but in the short term I'd prefer they know quite clearly how bad I think some of the recent decisions are.

the game at its basis is simply a 0. i would give that as well.

however me and my brother found ways to make this game fun.

    for example.

RNG can be fun. when we have saved up tokens, Cp etc. and a new level 5 card hits. we are going to pull until we get the level 5 card. i am on his phone he at mine. we press on until one of us gets the card. before we set a wager. like who will do some **** job. can be painting or something else. so you can imagine pressing everytime and hoping for the best. it is pretty funny.

other is. my brother printed out the cards for real. we found the covers online. and whenever we get a new cover we add that in the game. so when we get a new cover. we get it actually for real.

imagination is a great thing. you can do wonders with it. also i imagined many days how incredible this game actually could be with proper development. without the iso farming, without spending big amount of money into it. with awesome story lines. with a proper PVE based on time and play. with a proper PVP.

i just cant understand how people can play the same PVE node over and over again with the same story line over and over again.

even if i was a whale. just imagine needing to press every time on the button to get 40 card pack. or hitting 250 tokens. it takes ages just to do that. then i did not even have played a second lol

this game is one of the worst games of a big licence i have ever played. okey it is not as bad as E.T. on the Atari. but outside of that. i never thought that a game which such a big licence could be such a money hungry, anti consumer experience. the graphics and animations are surely nice. but lets face it, the match 3 engine itself is garbage. the computer cant even do a proper match of 5 colors. if there are like 2 vertical and 2 horizontal. it wont add the third color in the corner place. match 3 engines are not the most difficult to make either.

and then there is the money. 100 dollars for 20.000 gold? are you serious? for 100 dollars i can buy battlefield + DLC. which brings me on another point. why does demiruge not release DLC packs for its new charchters?

get 5 charchters for like 10 bucks or something like that. there are so many ways to make this game more enjoyable and consumer friendly. you really dont need to be a magician to see that.

the Idea of the game itself is great, playing with marvel super heroes in a match 3 game. but the execution is terrible.

What I don't understand is how people confuse "rate the game" with "recommend to a friend"

Durrr. Wyh u raet game 0. U a insaen peeple on teh internets. Y play lolz.

    SMH.

Personally, a game with so many frequent bugs, you can totally give a rating of 0 to recommend to a friend. I know I did.

Giving the game a zero just on these recent changes is silly though. I gave the game a 7 on a previous poll on whether I would recommend it. When they announced Bonus Heroes and the vaulting my initial thoughts were that they would rotate all the characters in the packs so that they would all be available at certain times. This helping with the dilution while also allowing us to still get covers for all of them. As it turns out this wasn't their plan, I would lower my rating to a 5. The change is bonkers and makes a large chunk of your roster pointless, but its not game breaking, so its certainly not worthy of a zero.

This lunatic, I guess? I don't think anything other than a zero will properly convey how I feel about recent changes, lack of quality in general, and pricing.
It's pretty point blank. They've taken a great concept and are sinking it, in my opinion. Theyve already lost my money flow. Did they lose others also? Maybe. Did they gain more elsewhere? They'd better hope so or their model is failing.
I'm not opposed to spending again and I'd like to see the game have a very long lifespan. Unfortunately I'm not sure either is possible the way things are handled.
A quick to play free game that kills time when I'm not doing anything? That's nice, but it doesn't deserve more than a 0. It's replaceable.
I barely got DPD and my Simulator rd 1 clears in yesterday. I was doing other stuff and playing simply slipped my mind. If that doesn't say 0, I don't know what does.

I like the game. I enjoy playing it. I like the community.

I feel that I have learnt its kinks and turns. I know how to adapt to the bugs that pop up every patch. Aside from 5* I have every character rostered.

I will not recommend this to a friend because it just doesn't feel that it will be kind to a just starting roster with more than half of the 3*s vaulted. I don't care about 4* because a new roster does not need them. But 3* are absolutely necessary and they are out of reach for a newcomer.

    So... Yeah...
    Gamebreaking bugs with every batch?
    Unreachable essential characters?

    0 recommendation

Recommend to a friend? Big fat ZERO!

Personal enjoyment, I rate it a 6 right now. There have been improvements since I started, but it's just too much effort for reward still. Too many hours and too much money you have to sink into it to get a decent return.

No way I would try to sucker in someone else. Wouldn't be right.

    Last poll voted a 9.

(And actually recommended the game to my gf).

    Current poll voted a 0.

The reason I gave was vaulting created a situation where new players may as well not bother as they will never roster a large majority of characters.

    Voted for Drax.

I think a lot of people rate it zero because of the way they phrase the question. It's a very poorly designed question.

Firstly, I don't tend to recommend stuff a lot unless my friends say they are looking for something or need something. I don't walk around like a living QVC segment, and I think that is the same for a lot of people. I expect the majority of people I know don't even realize I play the game, as it is something we never talk about. I have had a few asking what I am doing when playing on the phone lunch times and stuff, and usually say 'playing a game, am stupidly obsessed with it' after which they have tried it and are still playing it. But to me that isn't a recommendation - its just me saying I like the game - not that they should try it.

There is loads of papers on how people are more likely to complain about something that frustrates them, over recommending something they enjoy too. It's just the way we are programmed to vent issue and stress. So the scores are always going to be lower as random recommendations aren't something most people do.

I think they also use word it 'to a friend' too, don't they? Can't remember - but there is something in the way they structure it that makes me think of a specific friend, not friends in general. And the answer to that is no - there is no specific friend I would recommend it to. The odds would go up if it was 'to friends' as its more general and not signalling a single friend. But Literature and Language degree, published poet and author, and I get the majority of my earning through ghost writing and editing - so most probably hugely over sensitized to language usage.

And then they use 1-10 scale which is open to a wide range of interpretation - just how many points are people putting on the scale - not at all, unlikely -likely - extremely likely - always? I mean if zero is not all - ten has to be always right? But how many people that have put zero would actually quantify ten as always? So the 1-10 system in itself is hugely flawed as it trying to quantify something that is open to a huge quantitative debate anyway. I think they'd get better results using terms rather than numbers... would give them a more concrete context to answer from.

So yeah, language is kind of an art in itself - people will interpret the question in a thousand of different ways, and the feedback will differ due to interpretation as not everyone has the same comprehension or use words in the way. If that makes sense?

But I tend to be weird and over-think things - so it might just be me.

Not even sure why they have these surveys, why don't they ask the important questions like what we think about vaulting or whether or not any characters need nerfed, Demiurge just going to do whatever they want to anyway.

I rated the game a zero. I always rate the game a zero, and it isn't because I don't like it: the rating asks how likely you are to recommend the game to a friend, not how much you like it. It's because the F2P model is based on instilling addiction in people, and I wouldn't choose to subject anyone to that. It's entirely possible that anyone I invite to play the game would do what has already been done because of F2P games: lose their sense of perspective on the value of money and significantly hurt themselves trying to "win" it, and if that happened they would be right to blame me for exposing them to something that did them harm.

If the question was "rate how much you like the game" I'd give it a 5 or 6, but that isn't remotely the same question.

You're misunderstanding. It's not "What would you score this game out of 10", it's "How likely are you to recommend the game?"

I have a blast playing this game, but recommending it? I dunno, it's a long hard road to get to a high enough level to be competitive. And the urge to spend money you maybe could spend elsewhere is always hanging over your head.

I actually raised my rating this time around as I feel the recent changes have been absolutely for the better.
