Danger Room Simulator

I think it would be cool to have a 'Danger Room'; a place that truly is a pure simulator. A small area of the game where a person can go to test things like team composition or see how abilities work. It should be customizable and consequence-free:
* A player could enter the danger room and choose exactly what enemies the AI will play, and then choose their level.
* After the match, the player's team is fully healed.
* There are no rewards or ranking of any kind.
I understand that this goes against the competitive model that is MPQ and the developers don't want people messing around in an environment like this all day where they don't feel pressure to spend money, so maybe limit the number of uses, or have it cost a small amount of ISO to use.

I like this idea, it brings in another layer of depth and benefits the player by providing a means of testing out teams that they would otherwise think is too risky running in a real battle. It'll help prepare them for when they have to use a certain character in pve and pvp as well to find out what other 2 characters would work best as a team.0

I'd like to see an endless mode. Choose your team from your roster, the team starts with full health, and fight against progressively higher-level random enemy teams without healing in-between. Doesn't give out rewards or affect your MMR, just keeps track of the furthest you've gotten, for bragging rights.0

I don't know how complicated it'd be to have variable levels/covers, and you can't have it heal after you're done or people will just use it to heal, so the simplest way i can think of would be you have a node where your entire roster are loaned heroes that are 5/5/5 and maxed levels. Likewise you select any 3 enemies that are also max level and 5/5/5. This is because otherwise you'd actually have to think about what covers to assign. Yes this obviously makes the characters stronger than they should be, but it should be enough for you to get a feel of how characters would work. Regardless of the outcome of the fight, since all the heroes are loaned so it doesn't matter if you won flawlessly or died on the first turn.0

Good point. It would have to remember any damage to your characters prior to entering, and that damage would remain after, though inside the simulator they could be at full health.0 -
I think what this would need to work would be to have every character available for you to try out, with the characters levels and abilities being customizable (still being 13/15 because theirs no point in going 15/15 if you can't even reach that), that way you can know if a character would work well with someone else, how they work in a team, etc. It'll overall just be a great tool for newer players.0
