about ios & android save data linking

I always play this game on my phone, but the screen is so small that I cannot keep playing for a long time.
Now I have a plan to buy an ipad mini for bigger screen and better control, but can they link the same save data from facebook? or just separate like PC and mobile version?
I just want to make sure that I won't buy a new tablet and can't play this game with same save data, that would be very lame lol, thanks.

    I'm sure that you can link your game from android phone to anroid pad (since I'm doing that), but I'm not sure if it works cross os as well. technically, it should be no problem, but...

    I use an Android phone and IOS tablet and it's fine (via FB saves). I suppose as long as you don't try jumping back and forth in the middle of a match-in-progress.
