Gideon 2 needed for some reason?

I just noticed Gideon, Ally of Zebdikar's first loyalty ability has been nerfed. The hoplite no longer has Vigilence and dies at the end of your turn rather than the beginning of your next turn.

I don't play as Gideon 2, so the change makes him even easier for me to compete against, but I imagine those who do play him aren't happy about it.

    Were you playing a Gideon 2 at a level lower than 60? My Gideon 2 makes tokens with vigilance that stick around until my next turn.

    Ah, good call. It's been so long since I've seen a sub-60 opponent that I didn't even consider it.
