Rounding out Roster Help

Hey, could use some feedback. Currently I've been playing for just over a year and I'm just about completed with all the 3 star heroes. I've been recycling a lot of 4 star heroes in favor of 3 star heroes to round off my roster. My thinking is that enables to do the daily more often and in the end I'll be able to get more 4 star heroes from completing the dailies as well as it opens things up for the pve events that happen since at least 2 of the 3 heroes that are in the events are 3 star with one normally being 4. Curious what others thought.

It's a good plan particularly with vaulting now as you only need some of lesser old 4s for essentials now.
