Who do you use when you are in 3* champed land. He is getting nasty now. icon_e_confused.gif

    IM40, Cap and GSBW did it for me. I boosted +2 red and yellow, and +2 all to be on the safe side. Match one yellow, fire recharge, match the bombs you can, and overwrite the others with Steve's reds and blue. Natasha can take out others with her purple, by setting up 4- or 5-matches, and her green can take out a bunch simultaneously if you line it up right.

    You might have some luck with Switch, Luke Cage and gsbw. Luke protects while switch feeds the sniper rifle. Patch and Super Steve can be very useful too.

    If you're lucky enough to have even 1 (preferably 3) yellow Green Goblin, he'll protect countdown tiles from bottom row destruction. Him with Steve Rogers and Iron Man 40 can get you through round 8.

    I did Round 8 with IM40, 3Cap and Switch. I put Switch at 3/5/5 because at 5 her green can destroy bomb tiles. With Cap overwriting tiles and IM40 feeding red, blue and green, no bomb ever reached the bottom. I just have to be strategic at matching tiles and destroying bombs.

    And then got hit by a bad board, IM died instantly and the rest followed quickly. It's important to get a good board.

    If you worry about bad board, use AP boosts.Yellow-red +2 and All AP +1 should set your IM40 up nicely.

    And did I mention about being strategic? You don't want to fire Recharge when lots of yellow tiles are close to the bottom, that's one example. I played patiently and didn't lose any boss match in Round 8.

    But if your gut really screams "Bad board ahead!", pop up 3DP. Spend that hard earned whale points as your "I win" button.

    im40 super steve and starlord do it for me, purples blues and a back up red for overwriting tiles, if i can tho i try and save up red and just hit him with unibeams when the bombs are at the top of the board

    I've beat R8 3 times with randomly selected 3 star teams and got to 7k health with a 4th. No thought was put into team composition, they were just on the same chatacter selection page. It can be done

    Team 1- Ragnarok, Colossus, Doom, 7k from victory
    Team 2- Storm, Beast, Psylocke, full victory
    Team 3- Magneto, Loki, Kamala, full victory
    Team 4- Doc Oc, Thor, IF, full victory

    IM40, 3* Steve and a 2-black/2-purple cover Gwenpool got me through round 6. Things got dicy at times, but they got it done in the end...

    Used several teams. But in all of them, there is one main character to do the job or a board control and other to feed the main character.

    Main characters
    - Ghost rider: Use his black to oneshot Ultron after Ultron downed the 2 other team mate
    - Punisher: Use his red after you downed Ultron to 40% (this one need a second main character in your team)
    - Deadpool: Use the whales
    - Steve Roger 3*: Use blue and red to override bombs. Could also work with 2* cap, but his health will not be enough to stay alive against high level Ultron
    - GSBW: Use all he powers to do board control

    Some funny others:
    - Colossus: Use his black to throw an ally in the air. It will save that ally from a bomb and you got a free power to fire. Very effective with GSBW.
    - Thanos: I haven't tried, but his purple might stop bomb to spawn.
    - Loky: Could use his purple to shuffle a bomb away. But you that's a very high risk move.
    - Quicksilver: Use his black to swap tile to facilitate matching. But locking tile might be a danger when you need board control.

    Not working:
    - Dr Strange: Ultron powers are all passive. Forget about nuking him that way. icon_lol.gif
