I have spent 1500 in crystals to buy the new packs. From those 125 cards, not one Mythic not even a Duplicate. Now moving on to what I did get. I got exactly 1 duplicate rare per Premium Pack. What exactly are we getting from this new and improved system and these Premium Packs? I am getting less cards which means less chance to get a Mythic, which almost guarantee's me a duplicate rare. My initial excitement is very quickly turning to resentment and disgust. I honestly dont know if I want to play anymore. Why spend any money at all if all I am going to get is less for it, oh wait thats it im getting an improved player experience.

Final gripe, I have 3.4 almost 3.5 million runes that are worthless. You have now devalued the former gold currency and have added a new gold standard currency to the game. This shows pretty poor long term strategy in regards to the player base and to the player longevity.

Frustration, disappointment and disgust, feelings that are all to familiar.
  • This is the theme of this update, and something Hibernum refuses to acknowledge. They know that economically things are now worse for us than before. They just saw that as an opportunity to make more money because we'd have to search even harder. They did not expect us to react this way because they've been so bad athat tracking the feelings you meantioned: disgust, disappointment...

We've been taking bad stuff on credit for so long. Months of "We'll fix it in the next update!" paid for in credit by our love of the game. This blatant move against the players was the last straw for so many people: basically a redesigned economy to stick it to us.

Im not an economics guy, but I have personally lived in places where the government has changed the value of their currency. All it will do is cause collapse. Brazil and Mexico are prime examples of this
I know this is a game, if you consider the size of the player base and how expensive it is. its like living in the US and earning Mexican pesos to pay for stuff. It was poorly concieved, poorly executed and is just bad for business.

I also tried a super pack to feel the new drop rates.... ^^

And I'm not surprised that it was an disappointment.
And why should they change the drop rates anyway? That could be too much work to do (depends on how they programmed it, I guess).

The only way a customer can show that (s)he is not pleased is not to buy any products.

err...you might be mixing cause and effect here.

Governments are usually forced to "chip up" BECAUSE of the collapse and runaway inflation.

Totally garbage. Opened two of them and got nothing but the "bonus" rare...both dupes.

The thing is that no one asked to remove fatpacks and big boxes and introduce the current versions.

Devs, lets just cut it and stop pretending that it was done to "improve the drop rates". No one bought it. If you really wanted to decrease the duplicate rates it could easily be achieved without changing the format of card packs. All you have done with this is give less for the same price with the same **** drop rates. Way to drive the players away. Right now i dont feel like ever buying a card pack again.

I posted this elsewhere but killwind I feel your pain.
I spent money to buy crystals.
    I opened 12 mega packs.
    I didn't get a masterpiece
    I didn't get a mythic
I didn't even get a new card for my collection.

I feel betrayed, I feel cheated, I feel like someone just broke into my bank account and stone my money that I work hard to earn .

What I did get? Oh yes that would be a 3x or 4x of the same card in every single mega pack.
Gee imagine that D3 lied to us again.

D3 I'm a whale. I know I am. I'm OK with it, but you went to far this time. If you ever want to see another dime from me you will return my purchase and you will fix your lies and this ridiculous pay to play system that only an idiot would think is a good idea.

Turn this update into what it was supposed to be and you will see my money again or don't and eventually players like me who are willing to pay will all leave and then you will all be looking for new jobs and wondering how to make next months mortgage payment.

Just stop giving them out as coalition event rewards! That way there will be less of them to go around. So simple!
