Kingpin first 4* champ? Which 4* to favorite?

Couple questions, def could use some advice to be efficient:

Roster: https://mpq.gamependium.com/rosters/Kcinham/

1: Have a 14th cover for Kingpin expiring in 4 days.. need about 29k more ISO to level and champ him (hopefully the Ultron event isn't going to screw me over with the lower ISO gain)... Is he worth it to be my first 4* champ?

2: Keep on jumping around figuring out which 4* to favorite, especially now with the vaulting of the 4s. Best options: Rhulk (1/3/5), Peggy (3/0/4), Jean Grey (3/3/4), Captain Marvel (1/1/2), or HB (3/3/1). Any advice?? I was leaning toward Peggy to get the yellow and the fact she's still in the 4* pulls... but keep jumping between her, JG, and Marvel icon_e_sad.gif So confused!

Thanks!

Honestly he is not very good (good, but not very good) and I would not make him my first champion. If I were you I would sold the cover and kept building the top ones first while you enjoy the better scaling in PvE. 1 4* will not change your PvP experience much unless it's Rhulk and it's his boosted week (soon to be over so next one is due in couple of months I guess).

I would focus on top of the latest 12 unless the dev change something in regard to vaulting. Don't count on the Bonus hero - it give 1 cover every 20 pulls from legendary tokens (if you exclude the 5* pulls) and probably 1 every 300 pulls from heroic tokens. It will do nothing to your progress to 4* land.

In this case Peggy (she will be there for another month) but more likely Captain Marvel, Medusa, Luke Cage (you have him nicely covered already), Coulson. They will very quickly overtake the older ones in number of covers.

Kingpin isn't bad, but in the same breath he's not great either. He's a tank when boosted and his black has a serious kick for 6 AP, especially if paired with guaranteed count-down makers like Switch or Cho-Hulk. Plus his purple is a serious yellow generator for cheap, making him a decent battery for yellow hungry characters like OML.

However he's not great and you rarely see him used unboosted. I love the fat man to death and I still rarely bust him out unless it's his week.

Until they change how the pull system works again, I'd go with chasing Peggy for now. You're going to see more of her covers in the near future and she can stand entirely on her own. Plus even unboosted she's still a speed bump and will make you less of a target in PVP, especially when the boosted characters are spam happy with their powers. And when she's boosted her blue is bonkers. Try to get her while you can, then switch over to Cage or Carol, depending on what else you pull/earn between now and then.

Magic is right, you shouldn't worry about the older legends for the time being. The big downside to this new pull system is it hoses people who don't have Iceman and Rulk already covered. Buster and Jean aren't as big of a loss as they would have been a year ago, but Iceman is the undisputed champ of 4* land and boosted Rulk lets you sprint though PVE stupid fast.
