Authority of the consuls not disabling ETB effects

The disabling effects happen only after the creature play their enter the battlefield ability.

Baral for instance, can still give 3 mana to spells before he is disabled. Consul flagship can still deal 5 damage to everything before it is disable. Emrakul still disable all creatures and increase cost of spells before getting disabled on the ai's turn.

The whole point anyone would use this support is to stop etb effects along with token spam.

please fix.

Side note: anyone else think Captured by the Consulate seem too expensive for a 2 shield support ?

It is working correctly. Authority of the Consuls is not suppression bonds. It does not disable the first slot of the battlefield. It disables the creature AFTER it has entered the battlefield.

The language they use doesn't specify how the disabling occurs when a creature ETB. So I assumed something was wrong when I saw ETB effects being trigger before the 1 turn disable kicked in.

If it said disable creature AFTER it has entered the battlefield then this post wouldn't exist.

    Thanks for the clarification.
