We need individual event timers!
I live in Europe and the last six events have ended at times like 4 AM, 5 AM, 6 AM...it's clear that the end times of the events favor American players, but what about the rest of the world? How on earth can we ever compete on equal terms when Americans can play til the very end without sacrificing sleep, while the rest of us either have to stay up extremely late, or go up extremely early to play and get more points? The only choice except this, is to use shields but that's an expensive choice in the long run. Also, it can't be used in PvE.
This sh*t just isn't fair at all. So how about this instead:
The event has a set start and end time, for instance "available 24 april to 26 april". Whenever you start playing the event within this period, you get an individual timer that give you 24 hours to play the event. This will favor everyone, no matter what time zone they live in and it's an easy solution that solves all problems. The events are played and calculated separately, and everyone wins.

I'm in NZ and face a similar situation. Events end while I'm at work or at 3-4am in the morning.0 -
Same problem here.
Maybe a easier solution is to make the starting time of an event 1 hour later than the last event's starting time.
That way every timezone will have some events in starting/stopping at good hours.0 -
+1 here as well.
If I've kept count correctly, then this is the fifth time I've seen this request appear. Maybe it's about time the devs got the message.0 -
Still as important as ever. Individual timers or another system, PLEASE!0

They could also make every next event slightly later or earlier to make events end at different times around the clock. Otherwise, they should bracket people according to their time zones.0

I feel the same about this... Seems Americans take huge benefit from this game... It's 1:30am for me right now and I just sat with my phone in my hand and watched myself drop from 6th to 80th in seconds, now imagine if I were asleep like I could've been if it were a weekday tomorro... I couldn't defend myself... I think they need to make some sort of prevention for this, it's unfair on the rest of our planet...0

Brackets according to time zones sounds like the only reasonable solution.
Some of the most successful alliances seem to consist only of American players, or most of them are. Not fun that the game almost always favors the Americans. It should favor no one.0 -
I second this. Seriously, it's kind of ridiculous that every event ends at around 6AM where I live. That's not okay.0

Seriously. I almost always miss the end of the events that I could have placed decently if I had the time to play at the last few hours.0
