What's YOUR prologue healing node?

So plenty of people mention that they go into prologue mission to heal up characters.

I'm curious which nodes people are using and why?

I run Personal Security in Dark Avengers chapter. It's the bottom right one.

2 assassins and one commander.

It's probably not the best one now that I think about it but I've gotten used to it.

I kill the commander first because her abilities are cheap and then the assassins are somewhat slow at placing counters since their abilities are 10AP. Also, because I don't need green for healing it's easy to leave those tiles on the board which makes it easy to remove countdown tiles once they appear.

Also they only deal around 1k damage and destroy surrounding tiles which shakes up the board a little if you're stuck.

It used to be Venom, but now my team is too strong and they down him before I can heal. Now I use the mission vs level 115 Rags. It's quite easy to shut him down and collect enough blue and yellow pretty quickly.

That one. Lvls are right, and without the commander i have plenty of time to setup a healing without counter tiles.
Edit: Or im confusing it with the one with a commander and 2 flamethrowers. The commander is lvl 45 and the flamethrowers are lvl 50.

Daken & Venom because no countdowns, won't kill the enemy in a few hits, and I can use my own Spiderman and OBW to heal. You can drop either one while focusing on a single color and spider-man let's you use they extra web tiles better.
  • Call him ragnarok.

Usually the lvl 115 Ragnarok one, because it's just one enemy, there are no required characters and you have all the time in the world to acquire blues and yellows because Ragnarok won't die just to match damage. I just wiped there though because I had a dying Panther to heal and didn't notice that he takes over Spidey for environment icon_e_biggrin.gif It went downhill from there~
  • Black Widow Imposter. I have OBW steal blue from the goons. I save Yelena for last and then heal.

I had been using one of the venom ones, but had to graduate to Oscorp runaway to not kill everyone too quickly. I had forgotten about Call Him Ragnarok until this thread, thanks to Psycopathic I'll most likely start using that node now.
  • Bottom right in venom (can't remember the name). Lieutenant and two soldiers. But yeah challenge is healing before they are all downed. I'd do Rags, but I don't have a stun Spidey, so it feels a little like I'd be taking as much damage as I heal.

    Same as me then icon_e_biggrin.gif

I like this idea but I find that maggia goons can get very dangerous. What goons are these? Hitman, Muscle or Thug?

My issue with facing heroes is that they can get lucky cascades and that can spiral out of control especially if you bring in really damaged heroes.

Since I don't have spidey heal I avoid other heroes in general.

Yeah it the hitman. They hit around 700 so its not that big of deal for me since I can kill them before they unleash most of the time. I do this one so I can load up on blue.
  • Hmm, I use Yelena and Venom in Dark Avengers. Just deny black and match blue for heals from OBW. Super easy, with no annoying countdowns.

I heal with OBW and that's mine too, although I always down Venom first. The only thing in that node that can sting you a bit is a 1000 pt whack from a Devour. No point in waiting around for it. Take him out and then take out Daken as fast or slow as you you need to.
  • Stolen Data in Venom. No rhyme or reason.
  • Dunno if it counts, but I go to the Shield Versus and battle one of teams. No restrictions on heroes, gains points for tanking later on, and the rewards are nicer than the 20iso's in the episode nodes (70-140 +30iso).
  • with my 2* roster and obw as healer I head to the juggernaut missions where he's level 17 or so, focus only on OBW colors and heal/kill before he hits a headbutt.
  • Oscorp: Rocket Men with OBW and Magneto MN. May have to try out the Rags one.
  • Great thread topic. Since I use OBW for healing, I don't like nodes solely with goons; cuts down her healing too much.

If I just need a little HP (or someone's almost dead) I'll go to Venom/From Russia. I can down the Thugs before they get off a shot typically (if they get off 1, they're only level 23 so it's not a big deal) and usually get enough blue for a heal before I kill Yelena. For the "everyone's at 30%" scenario, I go to Dark Avengers/Daken and Venom.

That's a bit of a gamble I feel. I don't know how much damage the headbutt does at that level but I wouldn't want to run the risk. Lucky cascades are too common and you're not taking any of Juggernauts colours.

    prologue:venom:rescue mary jane

obw is my primary healer, stuck with spider-man, so i can only heal one at a time, but it's quick and easy and very low risk for my roster

a few more covers into spider-man and i'll graduate to the ragnarok mission

I'm so glad this thread exists! I had been using Venom/New Face of War, but glad to have Personal Security now is quite an improvement!
