Can we please find out when the current RAtC event is going to get terminated by the Devs? Its not going to end on its own any time soon but for the coalitions that are still playing, it would be a kindness to let them know when the final refresh is. Last time it ended very suddenly so a bunch of folks didn't get a chance to finish their nodes. For top coalition players, this can mean being removed from your coalition because you didn't score highly enough.

Thanks.

Are you saying that there are coalitions whose decisions are based on players' results in events that are bugged?

Revolt Against the Consulate should end around 3pm UTC tomorrow, assuming that the boss's health doesn't reach 0% before then.

    Update: Corrected EST to UTC.

    Thanks Brigby. Cheers.

@Muche, I don't know. Probably? There are a lot of coalitions and this bug was fairly consistent.

Did you mean GMT? Events usually end at 10AM EST, which is 3PM GMT.

I was under the impression that it would've been EST, since Hibernum is located in Montreal, however I will double check with them before confirming.

Update: Yes. The time zone they use is UTC, so you are correct. It should end at 7am PST / 10am EST / 3pm UTC

Great. Just missed the reward because I thought I had plenty of time left since the boss lifepoints where far from zero icon_e_sad.gif

So Tezzeret just got bored and left?

I notice each player has ingame inbox now, perhaps it would have been a good idea to send a message to them all?

for reals? last i checked last night, it was at like 30%. so i thought i had time to earn another FIFTEEN points to get the exclusive. you've got to give us some kind of warning! I even have alerts turned on. woulda been easy to send out a notice. poor management.

It's great that Brigby was able to warn us here, but yes, I agree that a notification system to the other thousands of people that aren't on the forums (or happened to miss the post) is direly necessary.

Surely there's a way to push something to the Inbox saying, "The event has an automatic shutoff at 3pm GMT".

How about just don't change the rules mid event just because some people can't meet their own third party rules outside the game.

What insanity is this. The mid tier players actually need MORE time this time around because they can't clear tez reliably and node 1 is closed to them.

The devs are actually catering to complaints about it being too hard for some to earn their free mythic and screwing over those just trying to meet progression?

Sorry, I'm not following. What rule changed?

The last time RatC "ran over" on time, it also ended prematurely. I think that it's some sort of failsafe/automatic cutoff to prevent it from running indefinitely.

But it's not going to run indefinitely is it?

It shouldn't be cut off at all. But the last time it was cut off just short of it ending naturally, so there wasn't a big problem as most people who could complete progression already did it.

Might as well make it a 48h event like everything else and shorten progression max points if they just want to pander to the hardcore-but-not-hardcore-enough players who find the need to clear every single charge(but don't really want to?)

Doing it the current way, especially with the easiest node out of order is the worst way to do it.

I've got a hypothesis! They're intentionally making Tezzs life total too high so that they HAVE to cut the event before he reaches zero health.

That way he can crawl away into some dark cave and heal before attacking us again a few weeks later.

Adds a narrative to the game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Or, y'know, have the end time shown on the event like every other event?
