How exactly are the required characters determined? Several times now my team has required one of my undercovered 3 and 4* characters, plus a freshly reset 2* character. Very few of my 4* characters have 1 or 2 covers and only a handful of my 3* do as well, yet they seem to be required more for this node than any others. The other day I had to use a level 94 drax, level 40 3* (don't remember who) and a level 15 2* hawkeye (who had about 10 covers but I hadn't levelled up yet). Just 2-3 days later 2* hawkeye was required again. Today I need to use a level 70 4* Eddie Brock/level 40 3* Bullseye/freshly reset Moonstone. The odds of randomly requiring so many undercovered characters together is incredibly low, yet keeps happening. Am I just getting incredibly unlucky?

There's supposed to be 40 different missions, each with a different featured fourstar. There's only 13 two-stars though, so it's only natural there's repetition.
I think the characters have been chosen to have some synergy. But it's a feature that's oriented towards players with a wide roster, and it sounds like you are not quite at that point yet.

Today's Burrito team of 4-star Venom, 3-star Bullseye and 2-star Moonstone weren't exactly high on the synergy...especially vs Hood and Black Widow, who can steal your AP with ease.

I also found it amusing that they had 2-star Hawkeye in matches against 4-star Jean Grey. Triggering Speed Shot isn't that great against her! icon_e_sad.gif

The announcement thread for the changes listed the teams that will be in the rotation.

Well, they needed to feature someone with Eddie Brock. Of the available two- and Three-stars Moonstone and Bullseye do have some synergy with his yellow - Bullseye can use the protect tiles to fuel his Purple and Moonstone can steal them. Similarly, Hawkeye was paired up with Drax, who could use Hawkeye's Speed Shot countdowns to increase the damage of his black. I am a bit stumped why Hawkeye was also paired up with Nick Fury though.
Bottom line: It's a tricky format to design teams for, but most of the time I can at least see what the devs were going for with their choices. Not all the time though.

So what IS the thought process here? This is the only node that requires all 3 characters, if I can use 1 cover characters why even require it?
Why not let us attempt it even at a deficit?

Anyone know what the synergy was supposed to be for today's ghost rider/panther/obw match? Was it just that panther's yellow makes attack tiles that gr's green and red benefit from?

In theory but man was it slow. Add in both the best attack skills are expensive black skills and this team was a total dud. Oh well, can't all be Wasp / Falcon / Bullseye (never thought I'd type that).

Yes! I'd never have thought of using that team in anger, but my gosh it was a lot of fun to play with.

Kudos to whomever came up with that one.
