It'll remain broken until the next event of this type.

    It won't be hotfixed.

And likely the next time this event runs, they'll offer Baral's Mastery as the reward again since many players won't have been able to gain progression with the first node being bugged. Players with higher power cards and many maxed planeswalkers will still make progression, but the rest will likely only be able to go through the second node, and no more.

Sadly, I wouldn't bet on it, but there's always a chance. When I first played over a year ago, I saw Devs gifting people for problems in gems or runes or both. Since then, most mistakes or errors have been met with, "We're aware of the issue..." and that's about it. They might fix the issue for next time, but no other changes. I would be more than happy to see them spite me, though, for newer players' benefit. icon_e_wink.gif

I'm basing it on a recent event that ended too quickly for most of any players to get Panharmonicon, so to make it up to us, offered it as the progression rare again the next time the event ran. So it's a possibility they'll do the same here if enough players were locked out from being able to obtain it due to their error.
