Progression too difficult now

Long time player, first time poster. With the changes to cover rewards and tokens youve made it is way too difficult to progress past 2 star characters. Ive placed top 10 in many events in the past by putting in the time. The alliance rewards should be in addition to the individual rewards. With the new setup its near impossible to earn a red HT or Blue 3 star cap cover for the vast majority even though placing top 10 in the lazycap and human torch pve tournements. Now youve made it even more difficult to buy a token to get these important covers. Ive spent a fair amount of money trying to progress just to get a useless modern hawkeye, A wolverine, or many other characters long since maxed out. The true fun in this game is the ability to progress and its becoming more and more frustrating by the week once you hit the 2 star wall. My suggestion would be to either offer a guranteed 3star token and fix event and progression rewards so that people not in a 20 person alliance have a shot at something beyond a little iso which cant be used unless you get new covers to invest iso in. With the current setup there is no way i can justify spending any more money because a 5 or even 15% chance for a 3star is riduculously low not to mention the odds of getting the "alliance only" colored cover is even lower. Not sure if others are seeing the same issues but after seeing the recent changes to the game, a little better incentive for spending real money or putting in the hours would be nice.

I've always hated that progression depends on a cover lottery. It's never worth spending money on because it's a crapshoot.

I keep playing game because the core puzzle combat is solid, but the progression scheme is atrocious.
