Carnage and two Muscles.

Yeah erm...are you kidding me?
Carnage is one of the most annoying 4*s in the game.
Muscles are one of the most overpowered minions in the game. and there are two of them.

I nearly wiped with Iceman at full health on the *first clear* of that node. I'm running out of health packs. Bringing in Ant Man didn't help because the board is COVERED in attack tiles, so I can't even steal the Muscles strike tiles.

Please, for the love of God, change this wreched node the next time this event runs. Good freakin lord. And no, I don't want you to remove a cover from Carnage. I want you to remove Carnage. Most characters paired with two Muscles can be taken out by flipping their strike tiles, but Carnage puts pay to that.

If I didn't need ISO so badly, I was already set to give up after the outage...

I´ve already complained about this node in another thread. Overpowered Muscles spawning CD tiles like crazy and thanks to Carnage`s passive the board is full of Attack tiles soon. Even when you´re lucky to beat Carnage early a CD tile will resolve adding 1.5k Strike tiles to the board. If I won´t want to get the Gwenpool covers so badly, I would have quited this event at that point.

Really? Strange made that node a joke and I saved Carnage for last.

Ugh, didn't think of using Strange for some reason...guess I was too frustrated. I tend to forget my 3*s since they feel so squishy.
But when your boosted 4*s with 30k+ health are being murdered it can screw with your perceptions.

Any time there are two or more goons, I use Strange. Unless it is that one that has only a passive. I think it is the sniper. Not sure right now.

    iceman and im40.
stun carnage, recharge, icemans green, then stun/punch the rest.
if the board is not bad, it does the trick every time.
if it is, it doesn't really matter who your team is.

This is my answer to almost all MPQ questions, but I've had my fair share of boards that are starved of yellow or have all their yellow occupied by enemy CD tiles.

With these possibilities in mind, Strang3 becomes a much more consistent option (one that doesn't require proper board makeup), and Quake makes sense as a buffer against Tommy Guns. Add a red user as your third and you should have an easy time.

I found new go to team for me. Ice Man, Starlord (with 5 in yellow instead of pink to reduce pink powers), and... RHULK.
All you need two pink matches and 1 green.
rhulk convert 5 pink to 7 green and iceman can AoE for 10 green. 4 blue for 4 turn stun is also great.

He'd mostly be hiding behind your Iceman, so the only really worry about his health would be him getting murdered by a tommy gun going off.

I actually used Iceman, IM40 and Strange on those nodes, a quick blue before firing recharge stopped Carnage moving or generating attack tiles and then you could use the punch component after you got the rest of your blue.
