Dr Strange 5* Purple ability not doing anything

I just started using Dr Strange. I used his purple power for first time in current PVE. Enemy Daken had 2 strike tiles on the board. Dr Strange Eye of Agamotto would just pulse then do nothing.

    His purple needs to be at least level 3 to be able to remove strike tiles. From the text in the mouseover it seems you have it at level 2.
