Salty people are fun and all but we have a ton of cry babies on here. Boo hoo i do not like events, boo hoo thier are cheaters, boo hoo i get too many duplicate rares. The devs know the issues and they are listening (look at the changes in last event). Either roll with the punches or quietly step out like a person who has dignity. The infantile attitudes are a bit much at this point. Nut up or shut up.

That being said have a good day and may you have many cascades.

You do realize that a lot of those changes are coming about BECAUSE people have been complaining about them, right?

boo hoo i get too many duplicate rares.
thats the only point I can agree with you on, and this is affected by people with lack of understanding of basic probability.

Please, keep the discussion civil and respectful. Mocking spelling mistakes is frowned upon around here (not all of us are native speakers, but as long as we understand each other, it's all good), nor are 'your mom' retorts (seriously?). This is an official warning to everyone posting in this thread - if you must reply, keep your replies extremely respectful and to the point.

Feedback, both positive and negative, is always welcome in this forum, as it helps the dev team identify the most pressing issues. They are not omniscient and sometimes having players point out some problems helps. Dismissing people who complain about certain aspects of the game as whiners is disrespectful - if the dev team ever decides that they don't need negative feedback, they are fully capable of saying so themselves and enforcing appropriate rules. If any specific suggestion seems pointless to you, please reply in an appropriate thread, present your views and provide some arguments. If you feel that the game is great and would like to thank the devs for their work, please do so without insulting your fellow players.

Then again, even if the OP's post was mildly inflammatory, there's no need to dogpile him. If you have nothing to add to the previous comments, refrain from posting here.

I'm leaving the thread open for now, in case anyone has something new to say (once again: please keep the discussion civil and respectful). If it deteriorates further, it'll be locked.

I can't even deal with this because of the grammar and capitalization.

Since apparently nobody has anything to add that wouldn't be limited to mocking OP's grammar/spelling/formatting, I'm locking this thread. I generally dislike forcefully ending discussions and was quietly hoping that someone would use this opportunity to explain to the OP (and people who share his sentiments) how negative feedback can actually be helpful and incite positive change. This has been a learning experience for all of us.

I have already issued a brief warning to everyone posting here that mocking OP's language mistakes or writing style is not welcome in this thread or in any other part of the forum. Accordingly, bken1234 receives an actual, individual warning for ignoring this.

On a more personal note - this game brings together people from many parts of the world and many backgrounds. Most of us are not native English speakers (I definitely am not), for some players English is a second, third or fourth language, some of us, for various reasons, struggle with expressing our thoughts in writing, whether English is our mother tongue or not. It does not decrease the value of whatever we have to say, it does not define us as people, it has nothing to do with the content of our posts. Even if you disagree with someone, no matter how violently, even if they disrespect or insult you, mocking their language mistakes is never an appropriate reply.

B, just recently I issued a warning to another user who, you felt, created unfriendly atmosphere in this forum by dismissing possible concerns regarding a minor, unintended display of sexism. Back then I agreed that the subject of the dispute was not relevant, neither were both sides' views - what we want to protect is an attitude of inclusiveness that makes all people feel welcome here, regardless of their personal background. I usually give everyone more leeway if the discussion is strictly game-related, as I understand that emotions can run high when discussing pressing issues such as matchmaking or card balancing, and that some of us (again, including myself), have trouble expressing themselves without casual sarcasm. However, I will absolutely not tolerate mocking people based on outside factors, including gender, sexuality, age, nationality, language capabilities etc. If you see anyone doing that, please report them.

Both of us deal on a daily basis with people whose spelling is not perfect, who obviously struggle with English grammar. They are our friends, teammates, fellow players. Even if you don't particularly care about OP's feelings, think about everyone else who is self-conscious about their English, reading all this. Half of the posters addressed (albeit briefly) the meritum of OP's post, the other half was too focused on pointing out which letters he missed, as if that somehow influenced the value of his post. This is not an attitude I can or will support, either as a person, or a moderator.

I'd also like to remind everyone that even if someone breaks forum rules, uses inflammatory language or insults you (directly or not), it does not give you a free pass to break the forum rules in reply. I do not have a daily limit of bans or warnings issued, so don't worry, there is enough for everybody. Please keep that in mind when posting in the future.
