Once again i am making another post about the rampant cascading the AI is doing on a constant basis. This cascading is making the game less and less fun all the time. Please for all that is Holy and GOOD fix this ridiculous issue. I mean come on...2 Olivia and 1 Tyrant in the first round give me a break. Please fix this horrible coding before it is too late.

I agree that this is not a bug, it is a feature.

If you watch the gems as they fall into place you can see them change just as the columns settle.

This sometimes happens to prevent the player from getting a cascade and sometimes to create cascades for the AI. It's a terrible way to artificially boost the difficulty.

At the very least they could do it in the background before they drop the gems.

This is a display bug; if you watch closely or record your gameplay it's the gems around that change color, and then revert to their proper color (and are unaffected by what you purport to be an issue)

This has been discussed a hundred times. The AI doesn't 'cheat', it's also not given any advantages over human players, like better swaps or supports placement. Aside, from, you know, advantages like 500 hp, OP skills or insane mana gains in PvE.

There's a display bug connected to gems changing color as they fall, but it's not an element of a conspiracy against players - seriously, those are digital gems, not plastic balls, if the devs wanted them to change color, you wouldn't even notice. It's a known issue, but as it doesn't seriously affect the gameplay, I imagine it might take a while to fix.

Cascades are not a bug unfortuntely. It's just the way things go sometimes. I think everyones been a vicim of this, I know I have, which does puzzle me how players get max points in some events. Are they just lucky and dodge them every time?! Who knows.

As for fixing the display gems when they drop. I would envision that this will never be fixed. The bug itself is part of the core gameplay and coding fixes and testing them would be extremely time consuming for something is visually annoying and cosmetically a **** just happened moment, but gameplay wise is a nothing to the game itself.

The only cascade thing I do dislike is when they clear a line vetically and the same colour gems fall and it happens a few times before it settles.

Whether or not it's a bug or feature or whatever.

The fact remains the same that this cascade effect happens far too regularly and more often than not it is to the benefit of the AI players and when it does.

The human player is quite often left with only loyalty gems to match.

Start a spreadsheet. After a 100 matches see if there's a noticeable trend. Without that, we'll just assume that it's perception bias - you don't think much about your own cascades, but huge cascades on the opponent's turn are quite memorable. If AI cascades a few times in a row, it's easy to assume that THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS!!! and forget about all the other games where AI didn't cascade.

Keep in mind that AI always goes for a match-4, even if it gives it less mana than matching its own color, which in the long run may lead to more cascades.
