Oath of the Gatewatch is going on for 2 days?

How come none of the other weekday events go on for 2 days? We wouldn't have to change our decks around so much, and we wouldn't get so many huge ties if we played more games.

Isn't it always a two day event?

But I do agree with you. One day events back to back and sometimes running at the same time have players frustrated. Deconstructing and reconstructing decks over and over again is becoming a chore. Deck building should be enjoyable.

I think the reason they make Oath two days is that its not a node based event so it doesn't really matter if its one or two days, it just gives you more time to finish. The reason weekday events are one day is that they got feedback that the events were too long, so they only have one multi-day, node based event each week over the weekend. Personally, I liked these changes but then I was one of those who felt events were too long.

The problem isn't just that they are one day events. In itself that would be fine but when they run them back to back and occasionally concurrently it becomes a hassle.
Hopefully when they implement deck slots it will be more manageable.

I liked the old event schedule -- Wednesday-Friday (coalition) and Saturday-Monday (coalition).

They have room to put 1-2 short individual events in for people who want more, but in general it gives coalitions more time to play together. Seems the alt communities go dead now with the shorter mid-week event.
