Hi,

I'd like to know if you would pay for additional story mode content (fair pricing assumed).
Of course, it is additional work to do, if new content would be added and since you get crystals by playing story mode, maybe it would be fair.

Anyway, I'm curious about your opinion and comments. icon_e_smile.gif

Regards!

When you say 'fair', presumably you mean you price should be random for each player, which some paying very little, and some paying a lot, but with that randomness hopefully averaging out over the long term?

Well, in my first post I avoided a price, that I would like to see. But let's make an example:
We have 3 parts with 10 opponent (similar to the Origin part). Per opponent you can get 25 crystals (10 for every colour and 15 for succeeding in a certain objective).
So that would be 750 crystals. But you probably don't get them all easily (unless you have all these OP cards). So, I'd think a prize less than 10 $ would be fair. Something like 5.99 $? And maybe 2.99 $ for an heroic encounter?

What do you think is a fair price?

Given the state of the game I honestly can't see myself putting any real money in unless there are some major changes.

Buying story missions for crystals, however, is something I would probably do.

Not a bad idea. It sounds like an crystal investment (where you get more out than you invested). ^^

Of course, I'd go with your idea as well. icon_e_smile.gif

I voted "No" because as much as I want more Story Mode content, I just can't afford to pay for it. They've designed exclusive card offers so you have to put money into them to stay up with the power creep (upcoming Baral is an example, Olivia, Gisela, even Shrine of the Forsaken Gods are prior examples) -- I have to pick and choose where to drop cash and keeping up with the power creep is a priority for me.

How about adding story content for free? So many of these Free-to-play games offer campaigns for no charge and purchases are tied to something else. See the competition, it makes no sense to pay for additional story mode.

Additional story mode content would certainly be welcome as part of the base game.

I like story mode, I wouldn't mind more of it, but i don't think i would any real money to get it.
My problem with it is that unless you know the story before hand it seems like just bunch of random battles.
It would be much more fun with a bit of plot and maybe a little dialog.

agree there should be an in game slider and we could define price in what we define as fair, good idea
this should obviously work both ways and everytime I have faced non event deck in fate is rarely fair at the end of the game I should have a similar slider where I would decide what FAIR compensation D3 will pay me.
